   The Tom Cruise-led ‘Mummy’ reboot fared far better overseas, opening to nearly $142 million internationally; ‘Wonder Woman’ easily stays No. 1 in North America after falling a scant 45 percent in its second weekend. In the U.S., The Mummy was relegated to second place behind Warner Bros.’ box-office sensation Wonder Woman, which fell a scant 45 percent in its second weekend to $57.2 million from 4,165 theaters. That’s one of the lowest drops ever for a superhero tentpole. Generally speaking, a superhero film can fall 60 percent.

   Will Amaya be in Legends of Tomorrow season 3? — Fear not, despite not being explicitly mentioned in the logline for season 3, Maisie Richardson-Sellers will be back as a series regular next season.

3. Legends of Tomorrow Casts Billy Zane As PT Barnum (Date: 14 June 2017)
   EW can exclusively reveal that Billy Zane has been tapped to play P.T. Barnum on the CW super series. The Titanic star will appear in one episode. Executive producer Phil Klemperer has offered up a detailed description of the role that also offers insight on what’s in store for season 3: “Obviously, we couldn’t resist putting Victor Garber and Billy Zane back on screen for the first time since the TITANIC. But I’ve wanted to bring Billy onto LEGENDS every since I saw him in a friend’s comedy pilot. I’m not sure that people know how funny Billy is, although we cast him as P.T. Barnum because we knew that he would be able to find the soul beneath the larger-than-life showman. This season on LEGENDS, we want to meet other famous figures from history, people like Barnum, people we think we know, so that we can find the aspects of them, the parts of their story, that the history books left out — we want to bring history to life by infusing it with heart, humor, and total absurdity (often at the same time).”

4. Legends of Tomorrow adds Tala Ashe as a visitor from the future (Date: 06 June 2017)
   The Waverider is adding one more member to its superhero squad: American Odyssey and Smash actress Tala Ashe is joining DC’s Legends of Tomorrow season 3 in a new series regular role. Ashe will portray Zari Adrianna Tomaz, a Muslim-American woman from the year 2030. In her future, technological advances have brought about significant change to civilization, but humanity’s fear, prejudice, and mistreatment of the planet have prompted her to become a “grey hat hacktivist.” Tomaz may be a computer nerd, but she doesn’t yet realize she holds hidden powers derived from a mystical source.
