Chris Ferrell is a long time fan of a variety of so called nerdy things. Growing up he was introduced to Star War, Star Trek, and Babylon 5 by his father. That grew into a love of just about all Sci Fi and fantasy. Add in his fanboy nature when it comes to comics and Chris probably has too many things he's interested in.

Nowadays Chris espouses his love for all things good and nerdy in both podcast and blogging forms. Chris is a staff writer at Gonna Geek. In addition to that he is the co-host of a bunch of podcasts. Basically, if you want to hear someone ramble about nerdy things, Chris can do it.

SP as he is known to his close associates has dedicated his life to working within the system to bring geeky humor and science fiction points of view to the mindless minions in charge of providing the freedoms, security and infrastructure to our lives. Given the opportunity, SP would gladly slip through the Stargate to begin colonizing a new planet and living the Little House On The Prairie life or suit up to mine the solar system's asteroids for precious metals, gems and hidden signs of ancient advanced societies. ARROW NEWS

  1. Spoiler Room: Scoop on Arrow, Blacklist, Scandal, and more (Date: 07 April 2017)
Is there anything you can share on the Arrow finale? —
Oliver will have to use everything (and everyone) in his arsenal in order to take down Prometheus. “The alliances are going to be very surprising,” EP Wendy Mericle says of the finale. “You’re not going to believe who Oliver is working with to defeat Prometheus. It’s going to be really emotional. It’s going to be all about Oliver’s family, but not the family we’re thinking of right now. It’s going to end in a giant explosion, but not where we think it’s going to end, and the emotional punch is going to be bigger than the actual physical part of the bombs going off.”

  2. ARROW: MANU BENNETT’S DEATHSTROKE WILL RETURN, CONFIRMS STEPHEN AMELL (Date: 10 April 2017)
Before “Arrow” Season 5 thunders to its conclusion, Deathstroke will return to the series. On Twitter, star Stephen Amell confirmed that Manu Bennett will reprise his role as Slade Wilson. Executive producer Marc Guggenheim went on to confirm Bennett’s return as well.

  3. Manu Bennett’s Deathstroke Will Return To Arrow, Despite Actor’s Denials (Date: 12 April 2017)
Bennett had tweeted that on Monday that he wasn’t returning to Arrow, and then followed it up yesterday with a tweet that read, “Enough b.s about d.s!!! FACT: Deathstroke Arrow are currently filming in Vancouver IS NOT ME. I am in Auckland filming The Shannara Chronicles.” While Bennett was not currently filming Arrow, it seems that he is or will be at some point this week. The “other” Deathstroke was likely a stunt performer, there to shoot some scenes for which Bennett wouldn’t have removed the character’s trademark helmet.

The CW’s entire DC TV slate is currently on their spring hiatus, but when the action resumes at the end of the month, prepare for some big-time developments. On Supergirl, Jack Spheer (a.k.a. Lena’s ex-boyfriend) will make his debut and hold a press conference to debut his latest breakthrough in nano-technology, but when Kara Danvers, in an attempt to get back in Snapper Carr’s good graces, begins pressing him on the matter to show off her reporter skills, all hell breaks loose. Meanwhile, in a Tom Cavanagh-directed episode of The Flash, Barry will make his long-awaited trip to 2024 where he’ll attempt to discover Savitar’s identity, but he runs into something unexpected when he meets the future versions of his S.T.A.R. Labs team, who have become shells of their former selves after the death of Iris. Elsewhere, back in 2017, Killer Frost begins to wreak havoc in Central City!

GREEN ARROW COMICS AND TOY NEWS

  1. Kotobukiya Debuts Stunning Wonder Woman Movie Statue (Date: 07 April 2017)
Wonder Woman is part of Kotobukiya’s ArtFX line of statues, which are all in 1/6 scale. The statue features Diana in an action-ready pose, bracing for combat with her sword and shield in hand. The base suggests it will interlock with other statues, though on its own is rather boring. Still, the lush reds and rich golds and blues are stunning, and Kotobukiya always excels at sculpting hair. The statue also holds a well-crafted resemblance to Gal Gadot, who has her trademark golden lasso at her side. Wonder Woman will retail for 13,800 Yen, which translates to about $124 USD. She is shipping sometime in July of 2017.

  2. Greg Rucka and Liam Sharp To Leave Wonder Woman After June’s #25 (Date: 12 April 2017)
Both writer Greg Rucka and artist Liam Sharp announced today on social media that they will leave DC’s twice-monthly Wonder Woman title after the oversized Wonder Woman #25 ships on June 28. Rucka took to his Tumblr to tell fans that he would be leaving the title due to the strain of the twice-monthly schedule. Identifying it as his last issue on the title “for the time being,” Rucka advised fans against assuming the worst and wrote, “I just can’t maintain the pace on the title while also fulfilling my commitments to my other collaborators. It is, genuinely, as simple as that.” Shortly thereafter, Sharp took to Facebook to confirm that he, too, would be leaving the title — but cryptically teasing that he wouldn’t be going too far.

  3. ‘DC Super Hero Girls’ Writer to Take on ‘Wonder Woman’ Comic This Summer (Exclusive) (Date: 13 April 2017)
Shea Fontana will take over the title in July, following a critically acclaimed run by writer Greg Rucka. Fontana has signed on to write five issues of the twice-monthly series for the heroine, beginning with July’s No. 26, with a storyline that will introduce a new villain into the DC Universe. The move comes fresh off the success of her DC Super Hero Girls work. The artist for Fontana’s first two issues will be Mirka Andolfo, whose work has previously appeared in the DC Comics: Bombshells series. Fontana and Andolfo’s first issue of Wonder Woman, No. 26, will be released in comic stores and digitally July 12, with No. 27 to be released July 26.

GENERAL DC TV NEWS

  1. Legends of Tomorrow EP Klemmer Compares Season 3 To Game of Thrones (Date: 03 April 2017)
Executive producer Phil Klemmer suggested that fans should get used to losses and that they’re committed to going the full Game of Thrones in season 3 so that fans never have the comfort of assuming that anyone is safe. “It’s always been a rule since the Hawkman death [in the pilot], Greg [Berlanti] said it before the show was even a show about how his mission was to make this not like network TV, that no one would be bulletproof, that it was more like the Ned Stark idea of anybody could lose their head at any time. As we’ve been roughly breaking out next season, we’re more committed to that than ever. Again, that’s a really bittersweet thing because we think the dynamic of the characters have is so special and wonderful, and at the same time, you don’t want the audience to become too comfortable on the show. It is supposed to be a wild ride. You need that real consequences and real bloodshed to counterbalance the fluffiness and the silliness of the show. Otherwise it would just float off into space.”

  2. How The Supergirl Effects Team Brought Parasite To Life (Date: 04 April 2017)
The CW has released this video showing the visual effects for the Parasite episode of Supergirl from earlier this season. The episode was called Changing, the sixth of the season, and featured scientist Rudy Jones becoming the classic DC villain. It also showed us both Mon-El and Guardian in action after Supergirl and J’onn J’onzz were drained by Parasite. There’s no dialogue in the video, but you can see from the different effects shots how many different layers are needed for some of what look like simple scenes and how much of the shots are practical compared to computer generated.

  3. TVLine Items: Legends Star’s Status, People’s Choice Moves to E! and More (Date: 06 April 2017)
At least one of Legends of Tomorrow‘s season-ending mysteries has been solved.
As the CW drama’s sophomore run came to a close this week, Rip Hunter (played by original cast member Arthur Darvill) quietly packed a bag and bid the Waverider and its new captain, Sara, adieu. That, however, does not mean viewers have seen the last of the Brit.
“We’ve got plans for Rip for next year,” Legends showrunner Marc Guggenheim told Entertainment Weekly Radio on Thursday. “It’s just in a different capacity than him being a member of the team.” As for another burning Q — whether sister series such as Arrow and The Flash will reflect the weird reality on hand when the Legends crash-landed in 2017 Los Angeles — Guggenheim in a word said no. “We never want television to feel like a homework assignment,” where viewers of one #DCTV show must track all of them. “That said… there will be an explanation in Season 3 as to why you’re not seeing dinosaurs run through Central City.”

  4. The Once And Future Flash Synopsis Released Online (Date: 06 April 2017)
Barry (Grant Gustin) travels to the future to find out Savitar’s still unknown identity in the hopes of saving Iris (Candice Patton).  Upon his arrival in 2024, Barry encounters future versions of his Team Flash friends, who, following the death of Iris, have become very different people, profoundly impacted by their showdown with Savitar.  It will be up to Barry to infuse a sense of hope back into the team, as he proves to be hero his future friends have been waiting for. Meanwhile, back in 2017, the hunt for Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) continues.  Tom Cavanagh directed the episode written by Carina Adly MacKenzie.

  5. iZombie’s Rahul Kohli Comes to Supergirl in “Ace Reporter” Synopsis (Date: 06 April 2017)
Lena’s (guest star Katie McGarth) ex-boyfriend, Jack Spheer (guest star Rahul Kohli), comes to National City to unveil his big breakthrough in nano-technology, which has the potential to eradicate all diseases. Lena asks Kara to attend Jack’s conference with her for support. When Kara sees Snapper (guest Star Ian Gomez) in attendance she’s inspired to tap back into her reporter skills and questions Jack on his discovery, which ultimately leads to a bigger investigation that puts everyone in danger. Armen V. Kevorkian directed the episode written by Paula Yoo & Caitlin Parrish.

  6. ABRA KADABRA Summoned for CW’s THE FLASH (Date: 06 March 2017)
Actor David Dastmalchian has been cast as the villainous Abra Kadabra for the current season of the CW’s The Flash. In comic books, Abra Kadabra is a time-traveling villain and sometimes Rogue who uses his future technology to simulate magic powers in pursuit of criminal gain. As for Dastmalchian, the actor is a comic book TV and movie veteran, having appeared on Gotham, and in the films Ant-Man and The Dark Knight.

Smith told ComicBook.com that he will return for a second episode this season — the as-yet-untitled seventeenth episode of the season. Smith said that midway through the episode “Supergirl Lives”, producers started feeling out his schedule. Ultimately, they offered him episode 17, which he described as “sweet,” saying that it was nice that producers liked the job he was doing enough to bring him back within the season.

ARROW NEWS:

  1. Spoiler Room: Scoop on Supergirl, Grey’s Anatomy, Blindspot, and more (Date: 24 March 2017)
Arrow finale scoop! — As the season heads toward the ultimate showdown between Oliver and Chase, we’re going to be seeing a very different season finale this year. “We’re not going to destroy the city,” EP Marc Guggenheim teases. “We’re not even going to threaten the city. In fact, I can also tell you the finale doesn’t even take place in the city. Finally, the citizens of Star City can breathe easily in May.” Wherever the finale takes place, Guggenheim adds, “You can expect a good number of returning characters, characters you haven’t seen in a while, back in the episode.”

  2. ARROW: CAPTAIN BOOMERANG ACTOR TEASES RETURN (Date: 25 March 2017)
The classic DC Comics rogue, better known as Captain Boomerang, was introduced on the third season of “Arrow,” in the two-part crossover with “The Flash,” but hasn’t been shown since. However, actor Nick Tarabay suggests that could change soon. “Who really misses this guy?” the actor wrote in a tweet containing a photo of Boomerang. “Cause as you know….What goes around ALWAYS comes back around.” When Boomerang was last seen, he was incarcerated in the secret A.R.G.U.S. supermax prison on Lian Yu. How or when Boomerang might escape will have to remain mystery as of now.
    Link:http://www.cbr.com/arrow-captain-boomerang-return/
  3. Marc Guggenheim says ‘Arrow’s’ Vigilante is someone we already know (Date: 26 March 2017)
Vigilante has made a bad habit of getting in Oliver’s (Stephen Amell) way — and the Green Arrow’s way for that matter — all year, but no matter how often he shows up, we’re no closer to unmasking him. According to executive producer Marc Guggenheim, that’s a mystery for Season 6. We know who it is, but we were kind of intrigued by the idea of having a mystery that led into the next season,” Guggenheim told us at Paleyfest 2017. “We were excited at the prospect of just letting this play out for a little while longer, and it gives us something cool to do in Season 6. “As a general rule, I’m not a fan of mystery characters who when you take off the mask the audience goes, ‘What a minute, I’ve never seen that person before in my life,’” Guggenheim jokes. “I’m probably not spoiling anything by saying whoever’s underneath the Vigilante mask, you’ve seen that person before.”
    Link:http://screenertv.com/television/arrow-marc-guggenheim-vigilantes-identity-someone-we-know/
  4. ARROW: KATIE CASSIDY WILL RETURN AS SERIES REGULAR FOR SEASON 6 (Date: 27 March 2017)
Laurel Lance is back! Sort of. Though her character died in Season 4, longtime “Arrow” star Katie Cassidy will return, but with a twist: she will play Black Siren, Earth-2’s evil version of Laurel, as a series regular in Season 6. Additionally, Black Siren will feature in the last two episodes of Season 5. “One of the things that most excites us about ‘Arrow’ is that we go where the story takes us. Last year, the story took us to the tragic death of Laurel Lance. This year, our midseason finale reintroduced us to Laurel’s doppelgänger, Black Siren,” explained executive producer Marc Guggenheim in a statement. “We were so taken by Katie’s fearless interpretation of this character that we knew her story was not yet finished. We couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome Katie back to ‘Arrow’ as Black Siren, though as her appearances on ‘Arrow’ and ‘DC’s Legends of Tomorrow’ this season show, she never really left the family.”
    Link:http://www.cbr.com/arrow-katie-cassidy-series-regular-season-6-black-siren/
  5. Arrow: What’s really going on with Helix? (Date: 28 March 2017)
“We are going to see somebody [else],” Mericle teases. “What’s interesting about it is he’s not actually at Helix right now, so there’s going to be a big episode where we find out who this person is, and Felicity is involved in helping him. It’s really messed up.” But Felicity’s dealings with Helix will also help her to better understand what Team Arrow — Oliver (Stephen Amell) in particular — have been facing over the last five seasons. “Felicity’s use of Pandora is very similar to Oliver and Diggle’s [David Ramsey] use of violence,” EP Marc Guggenheim says. “It’s the hacker equivalent. You’re using violence for a good means, but violence is not necessarily a good thing. So what’s the cost to Felicity in doing that? We don’t want to turn Felicity into a killer, but we wanted to explore how Felicity has been spending basically five years with Team Arrow now, and she’s been spending five years with people who solve problems by not just resorting to violence, but by resorting to means that are morally questionable. Felicity is going to start discovering what happens when you fight fire with fire — do you get burned?”
    Link:http://ew.com/tv/2017/03/28/arrow-felicity-helix-spoilers/
  6. Legends of Tomorrow boss, cast on that shocking Felicity twist (Date: 28 March 2017)
Marc Guggenheim told EW, “It’s always nice when you can pull in a character from one of the other shows. We talked about a lot of different ideas, and I said, ‘Since this is an alternate reality and we’ll probably never have the opportunity to do so again, I think it would be fun if we did Felicity as a superhero,’ because I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again: I have zero intention of ever putting Felicity in a mask and costume on Arrow. There’s two lines in the sand that I’ve drawn for Arrow for myself,” Guggenheim says. “I can’t speak for Greg [Berlanti] or for Wendy [Mericle], but for as long as I’m involved with the show, the two things I never want to do is kill off Thea [Willa Holland] and put Felicity in a mask and a costume. Those, to me, are two lines that I just think are a bridge too far. Thea, because we’ve taken so many family members away from Oliver, and Felicity because when you put a character like that in a costume, I think it diminishes who that character is and it makes the idea of superheroics seem silly.”
    Link:http://ew.com/tv/2017/03/28/legends-tomorrow-felicity-superhero-death/
  7. Matt’s Inside Line: Scoop on Once, Lucifer, Scorpion, Arrow, Grimm, Suits, Mr. Robot, Chicago Med and More (Date: 30 March 2017)
Any hint as to when Arrow’s Thea will return? — Willa Holland will be on hand for the final three of this season’s five remaining episodes. “Thea is the daughter of sociopaths, which is one of the biggest challenges any human being can really face,” notes co-showrunner Wendy Mericle, “so she’s going to grappling with that and trying to understand: What is this in her that makes her so kind of Moira-esque, and how is she going to manage it? Ultimately, she and Oliver are going to come to the same conclusion about how to do that, by the finale.”

GENERAL DC TV NEWS

  1. Lynda Carter Confirms That She Is Playing A Durlan on Supergirl (Date: 28 March 2017)
The episode of Supergirl, titled “Distant Sun,” provided the audience with a much clearer look at the “true form” of President Olivia Marsdin, who had been revealed early this season as a shape-shifting alien. In the privacy of her own office Marsdin was able to transform completely into a quasi-reptilian alien form.

  2. Will The Thinker Be The Flash’s Season 4 Big Bad? (Date: 28 March 2017)
When Abra Kadabra was talking to The Flash about his most dangerous foes, he rattled off a number of familiar names, including Zoom and Eobard Thawne…and one less-familiar one (at least to the TV audience): “DeVoe.” Longtime comic book readers would recognize that name: Clifford DeVoe is a longtime Flash and Titans villain better known as The Thinker. Created in 1943, The Thinker is one of The Flash’s earliest villains. Originally a foe to Jay Garrick, DeVoe battled three generations of Flashes before his death in The Flash #134 in 1998. After his death, though, his brain patterns were used to create an AI that went on to become an antihero.

  3. LEGENDS OF TOMORROW: EXPECT NEW CHARACTERS IN SEASON 3 (Date: 28 March 2017)
According to “Legends of Tomorrow” executive producer and showrunner Phil Klemmer, adding new characters is “for sure” again the plan for season three of the DC Comics-based series, which has already been ordered by The CW — although exactly which new faces will join the show may not yet be totally cemented. “We haven’t fully pitched it, but we’ve got great ideas, and hopefully the studio and network agree,” Klemmer told CBR. “But so much of the show is working well this year. You just want to play to your strengths, and keep having fun.”

  4. LEGENDS OF TOMORROW PLAN TO RESTORE REALITY IN SEASON FINALE PROMO (Date: 29 March 2017)
The finale, “Aruba,”  will not air at its regular time, but will debut Tuesday, April 4th at 8:00 EST.

ARROW NEWS:

  1. Spoiler Room: Scoop on Once Upon a Time, Arrow, Riverdale, and more (Date: 17 March 2017)
Can you provide any Felicity scoop for Arrow? — Aligning with Helix, and therefore using even more unconventional methods than she does with Team Arrow, is certainly going to take Felicity to an interesting place — in particular, one in which she may come to understand her ex a bit better. “We’re starting to put her in Oliver’s footsteps a little bit,” EP Marc Guggenheim says. “She’s going to get a chance to experience things a little bit more from Oliver’s perspective. I think the reason they broke up was her difficulty to see things from Oliver’s perspective. They broke up fundamentally because she didn’t trust Oliver, and the reason she didn’t trust Oliver is she couldn’t understand why he made the decisions he made.”

  2. Did Arrow’s Stephen Amell Tease The Return Of Deathstroke & The Island? (Date: 20 March 2017)
Stephen Amell took to social media to hint the return of the Island. The actor posted a familiar photo with the caption, “Hello old friend.” The picture itself shows Slade Wilson’s Deathstroke mask placed upon a stake. The monument is one that was left on the island, and an arrow is shown sticking through the mask’s left eye slit.

  3. The Bruce Springsteen Songs of Arrow — Including Season 5’s Penultimate Episode (Date: 22 March 2017)
Revealed early to ComicBook.com, the title of the twenty-second episode of Arrow’s fifth season, which should begin shooting in the next couple of days, will be “Missing.”
    Link:http://comicbook.com/2017/03/18/the-bruce-springsteen-songs-of-arrow/
  4. Ask Ausiello: Spoilers on Grey’s, Bones, Arrow, Grimm, Once, Bates Motel, Hawaii Five-0, Walking Dead and More (Date: 22 March 2017)
Question: Have any scoop on Arrow‘s Olicity to tease? — Though Oliver has bigger fish to fry for the foreseeable future, Stephen Amell had this to say about Oliver’s take on Felicity’s recent secret-keeping: “Look, he does trust her, but that doesn’t mean he has to agree with her.” That distinction will be put to the test in Episode 19, which is officially titled “Dangerous Liaisons” but “you could almost call it ‘Team Arrow vs. Team Felicity,’” Amell shared. Felicity and her Helix hackers and Oliver’s associates “are both after the same objective, but after it in different ways. And that pushes us into a real exploration of why Oliver and Felicity have been behaving the way that they’ve been behaving this year.”

  2. PALEYFEST: ARROW, FLASH, SUPERGIRL AND LEGENDS OF TOMORROW PANEL (Date: 18 March 2017)
Cast and executive producers from all four of The CW’s DC Comics-based “Arrowverse” series — “Arrow,” “The Flash,” “Supergirl” and “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” — united Saturday afternoon as part of the annual PaleyFest at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, for a panel discussion moderated by Kevin Smith and Q&A with fans.

  3. THE FLASH Season 4 Won’t Feature Yet Another Speedster As The Show’s Big Bad (Date: 19 March 2017)
“Next season we’re not going to have a speedster,” executive producer Andrew Kreisberg revealed when he was asked if yet another of those will be battling Barry when the show’s fourth season airs.

  4. FLASH’S TOM CAVANAGH DIRECTING TIME TRAVEL EPISODE (Date: 21 March 2017)
Tom Cavanagh has played three different main characters over the last three seasons of “The Flash,” and now he’s set to take on another new role as director. 5. ‘Supergirl’: Katie McGrath Promoted To Series Regular For Season 3 (Date: 22 March 2017)
Lena Luthor will be sticking around. Katie McGrath, who has recurred on Supergirl this season, has been made a regular for the upcoming Season 3, which was recently picked up by the CW. McGrath plays vixen Lena Luthor, the baby sister of Lex Luthor, who came to National City to get out from under the shadow of her notorious brother.

  6. LEGENDS OF TOMORROW’S LEGION OF DOOM HEADQUARTERS LOOKS MIGHTY FAMILIAR (Date: 22 March 2017)
Meanwhile, at the Hall of Doom, “Legends of Tomorrow’s” Legion of Doom has used the Spear of Destiny to create their own reality — and that reality includes a big nod to the 1973 “Super Friends” cartoon from Hanna Barbera. On his Twitter, executive producer Marc Guggenheim unveiled the establishing shot for “Doomworld,” the penultimate episode of Season 2. The photo shows a structure not unlike STAR Labs; however, the building has a rounder shape with concave windows, making it look almost like a helmet… much like the Hall of Doom from “Super Friends.”

All six tracks from “Duet” have been included along with a special guitar version of Grant Gustin’s “Runnin’ Home to You.”

FEEDBACK

From FaceBook:

Starling Tribune shared Entertainment Weekly’s post.March 18 at 7:18pm ·
No speed villain for Flash next season? Yes, please!

Steven Carl Wait what? Why would they choose a villain without super speed?
Starling Tribune Because they’ve done that each season. Remember, not every   viewer is a comic fan, so they have to mix things up to keep viewers.
Steven Carl I was being silly. You can’t have effectively the same bad guy each season. New metas for the BBG .

Haley Malle What madness is this?!

  2. Spoiler Room: Scoop on This Is Us, Legends of Tomorrow, Vampire Diaries, more (Date: 10 March 2017)
Is Talia going to appear in present-day Star City on Arrow? —
Yes, and soon! “We will see her in the present day,” EP Marc Guggenheim teases. “What she wants from Oliver in the past is very different from what she wants from him in the present.” And yes, Guggenheim did confirm that Oliver has very purposefully never heard her last name. “Oliver couldn’t have heard it, because if he had, when Ra’s talked about his daughter he’d be like, ‘Yeah, the other daughter, I met her back in Russia,’” the EP says. “We were very cognizant not to retcon anything. So yes, she is Talia al Ghul, but Oliver obviously doesn’t know that.”

The happy couple have been vacationing in Los Cabos, Mexico, and, Leatham made it extra special by proposing to Haynes on the beach at Las Ventanas al Paraiso. “I SAID YES!!!,” Haynes wrote on Instragram, including an image of the two kissing while celebratory fireworks exploded behind them.Leatham used his celebrity connections to get Cher — the 70-year-old singer, actress, and gay icon — to send a special message to his boyfriend.

GENERAL DC TV NEWS

  1. Who Can Save Iris on ‘The Flash’? Candice Patton Has the BEST Answer (Date: 15 March 2017)
Ever since Barry (Grant Gustin) slipped through time and saw god of speed Savitar slaughtering his true love, Iris (Candice Patton), The Flash has been all about changing the future to save her life. Honestly, it’s starting to look a little bleak…especially since the producers haven’t even clued Patton into what lies ahead for her character! “No, they didn’t tell me,” she confesses with a laugh. “I have no idea and it’s a little alarming. I think I know, but you never really know. I am just in the dark as the audience so it will be really interesting to see if Team Flash can pull it off. I’m hoping they can, because I need a job.”

  1. First Look At Captain Cold’s Return To Legends Of Tomorrow Is Kind Of Heartwrenching (Date: 15 March 2017)
Wentworth Miller’s Leonard Snart has become one of the Arrow-verse’s most unexpectedly popular characters since his initial introduction on The Flash. He’s popped up here and there over the course of the last season in hallucinations or flashbacks, but next week’s episode will see him finally return in earnest. As the latest trailer indicates, it is a suitably tragic moment for his former comrades, because he bemusedly looks ready for a deadly fight.

  2. The Flash: Dozens of New Photos For Duet, the Supergirl Musical Crossover (Date: 15 March 2017)
Most of the newly-released photos show several sequences and scenes inside the dream world that Kara Danvers (Melissa Benoist) and Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) are placed in by the Music Meister (fellow Glee alum Darren Criss). The new photos also provide a better look at many of the supporting characters inside the dream, including Iris West (Candice Patton), Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes) and Arrow and Legends star Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman).

  3. Crossover: Behind-the-Scenes of Kara & Barry’s Tap Dancing Duet! (Date: 15 March 2017)
The Flash’s Grant Gustin and Supergirl herself, Melissa Benoist will be joined by their fellow former Glee co-star Darren Criss (and many more of your CW superhero favorites!) in an unprecedented musical crossover event – and only ET’s cameras were allowed behind the scenes to capture all the perfectly pitched action.

ARROW CAST & CREW NEWS

  1. Arrow Star Talks About Talia al Ghul’s Ulterior Motives (Date: 15 March 2017)

  2. Chris INTERVIEW: ARROW’S PROMETHEUS ON HIS VENDETTA AGAINST OLIVER QUEEN (Date: 15 March 2017)
“Arrow” recently revealed the identity of this season’s major villain, Prometheus, to be none other than Adrian Chase, aka Star City’s district attorney. Throughout the season, Prometheus/Chase’s attacks kept intensifying and becoming more and more personal. In his determination to destroy Oliver, Prometheus went so far as to kidnap Green Arrow’s girlfriend, Susan, determined to make Oliver suffer as much as he has. Ahead of the next stage of Prometheus’ master plan, CBR spoke with actor Josh Segarra about what he feels makes his bad guy tick, and his plans for Oliver Queen and Team Arrow.

  3. Is Arrow’s Talia Al Ghul Good Or Evil? Here’s What The Actress Says (Date: 14 March 2017)
Arrow got a whole lot more badass in the flashbacks in Season 5 thanks to the introduction of none other than Talia al Ghul, who is best known as the daughter of Ra’s al Ghul in DC Comics. Arrow’s version of Talia stands on her own, however, and she doesn’t seem beholden to her father in the slightest. Lexa Doig plays Talia in the flashbacks, and she has brought layers of ambiguity to the character that has led many viewers to wonder if Talia is good or evil deep down. Doig recently spoke to CinemaBlend about her role on Arrow.

In the wake of this stunning reveal, executive producer Wendy Mericle spoke to CBR and other reporters about what’s in store for Team Arrow now that Prometheus’ identity is out in the open. She addressed why she and the other showrunners made Chase Prometheus instead of Vigilante, why those chose now to make this reveal, what drives Chase to torture Oliver Queen and more. Why make Chase Prometheus instead of Vigilante? “I think one of the reasons we did that was because everyone would be thinking, “Of course he’s Vigilante!” Adrian Chase is Vigilante in the comic books, as you pointed out, and we thought it would be a really fun sort of twist to do what we’ve always done on the show, which is to take the comic book mythology and turn it on its head and see what kind of story we could mine from a surprise like that. It was also just something different for this season. We wanted to change up how we introduced the big bad and change up when we did it and how we did it. Hopefully, we succeeded in that this year.” She also said that Prometheus is going to mess with Lance as well.

[This isn’t the next episode; this is for the March 22 episode] Prometheus’ secret identity has finally been revealed (or so it seems), so these images from the episode of Arrow – titled “Kapiushon” – put the focus on Oliver Queen’s time spent in Russia. With that comes the return of Dolph Lundgren, hence why the former playboy has decided to suit up here. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen “The Hood” in flashbacks, but it is the closest Oliver has come to being the Green Arrow in the show’s flashbacks. From here, it seems as if we should now expect to see his journey back to Star City begin as it looks like the vigilante is going to take the gangster down.

  1. Spoiler Room: Scoop on Arrow, Agents of SHIELD, Blacklist, more (Date: 24 Feb 2017)
When asked about Ollie going back to the island, Marc Guggenheim said, “I can tease that it will either be by boat or plane. I can also tease he won’t be going back alone.”

  2. Arrow’s Stephen Amell addresses idea of Dinah-Oliver romance (Date: 28 Feb 2017)
After the shocking death of Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy), some fans of the comics were disheartened by the fact that Oliver (Stephen Amell) would not end up with the Black Canary — in the comics, Oliver married Dinah Laurel Lance, the character portrayed by Cassidy on Arrow. That all changed when Juliana Harkavy was added to the cast as Dinah Drake, otherwise known in the comics as the first Black Canary. However, that doesn’t necessarily mean there will be a Green Arrow-Black Canary romance, especially considering the show has never been beholden to the comics. “The idea that Oliver would end up with the Black Canary being Katie Cassidy or any new iteration thereof? To me, it could happen, it could not, but it’s certainly not destined to happen or predesigned to happen,” Amell tells EW.

GENERAL DC TV NEWS

  1. SUPERGIRL: ‘THERE’S A PLAN’ FOR DEAN CAIN AND TERI HATCHER TO SHARE A SCENE (Date: 24 Feb 2017)
Dean Cain’s character, Jeremiah Danvers, has returned to “Supergirl”. Teri Hatcher has already been confirmed to debut later this season in an as-yet unspecified villain role.It doesn’t take much to connect those dots, and arise at the natural question: Will “Supergirl” feature an on-screen reunion between Cain and Hatcher, who starred in “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman” from 1993 to 1997?  “We’d love to,” “Supergirl” executive producer Andrew Kreisberg said of a Cain/Hatcher scene on “Supergirl.” “There’s a plan — if we can execute the plan.”

  2. EP HOPES FOR ‘TRUE FOUR-WAY’ ARROWVERSE CROSSOVER (Date: 24 Feb 2017)
For the next full-scale Arrowverse crossover — which is tradition holds, will likely be in the fall — the creative forces behind the show are hoping to fully involve all four series, according to Andrew Kreisberg, an executive producer on each one of the shows. With the early renewals, Kreisberg explained, the shows can take advantage of pre-planned off-days in production to accommodate the cast members who are appearing on multiple shows in a short time, something that was particularly difficult last year with “Supergirl,” since series lead Melissa Benoist appeared in both a normal episode of her show, and then as a guest on “The Flash,” ‘Arrow’ and ‘Legends.’ ‘Supergirl’ was the show we needed to shut down the most, and it was the one we didn’t have any opportunity to,” Kreisberg said. “So now that we’ve gotten the early pick up and we’ve started designing the seasons, we’re building in those dark days — and actually more dark days on ‘Supergirl’ than the other shows — to make it a little easier.”

  3. ‘Black Lightning’ Finds Its Lead: Cress Williams Cast As Jefferson In the CW Pilot (Date: 24 Feb 2017)
Hart of Dixie alum Cress Williams is back at the CW as the title character in Black Lightning, the network’s DC drama pilot from Greg Berlanti, king of the CW’s DC universe, and the Being Mary Jane duo of Mara Brock Akil and Salim Akil.

  4. ‘Black Lightning’: Nafessa Williams & China Anne McClain To Star As Jefferson’s Daughters In the CW Pilot (Date: 02 March 2017)
Nafessa Williams (Code Black) and China Anne McClain (House of Payne) have landed leads opposite Cress Williams in Black Lightning, the CW’s DC drama pilot.McCain plays Jefferson’s younger daughter, the teenage Jennifer Piere, an independent, outspoken scholar-athlete with a wild streak of her own. Williams is Anissa Pierce — passionate and quick-witted, Jefferson’s twenty-something daughter balances the demands of medical school with her job teaching part-time at her father’s school. In the DC comics, Anissa and Jennifer follow in their father’s footsteps and become superheroes, taking on the names of Thunder and Lightning, respectively.

  5. Supergirl Producer Talks Earth-38 Arrowverse Dopplegangers (Date: 27 Feb 2017)
Supergirl’s setting on an alternate Earth (Earth 38 to be specific) already placed it within the DC TV Multiverse – yet we haven’t run into dopplegangers of DC TV characters from Earth’s 1 and 2. That’s something of interesting flaw in continuity, so will it be something that Supergirl will address? According to executive producer Andrew Kriesberg: it won’t be. According to Kriesberg, “the problem with that is if we do that once, we’re going to open the floodgates of insanity.” According to Kriesberg, it would take “a really good story” for Supergirl to get alternate versions of Barry or Oliver on the show; or conversly, an alternate version of Kara on Earth 1. In short: it would have to be an event.

  6. IRIS WEST WILL HAVE A KEY ROLE IN FLASH/SUPERGIRL MUSICAL EPISODE (Date: 01 March 2017)
Co-showrunner Aaron Helbing revealed that Iris West (Candice Patton) will have a big part to play in the adventure. “She plays a pretty key role in the musical episode. The story really centers around Iris,” said Helbing. “Aside from Barry and Kara, Iris plays a huge role in the musical.” The episode will also feature songs from “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend’s” Rachel Bloom and the “La La Land” songwriting duo of Benj Pasek and Justin Paul.

  7. Supergirl taps iZombie star as potential DC villain (Date: 01 March 2017)
Rahul Kohli, who plays medical examiner Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti on The CW zombie series, will play Jack Spheer, a charismatic tech genius who has spent decades working on a medical innovation that will eradicate major illnesses and change the face of the world – if it works. In the comics, Spheer’s invention mutated him into the villain known as Biomax, who had the power of mind control. It’s unclear whether his character on the show will follow the same path. Kohli will appear in episode 18, titled “Ace Reporter,” which executive producer Andrew Kreisberg recently revealed will heavily feature Kara’s journalism side.

ARROW CAST & CREW NEWS

  1. ARROW’S LEXA DOIG EXPLAINS WHAT MAKES TALIA AL GHUL A TRUE BADASS (Date: 01 March 2017)
A lethal assassin in her own right, in DC Comics’ lore, Talia has been an ally, a lover and an enemy to Batman. As there is no Batman in the Arrowvrse, this Talia instead finds herself involved with Green arrow. This season, it’s been revealed that she was the one who rescued Oliver from Ishmael Gregor and then proceeded to push him into fulfilling his destiny. Talia has trained Oliver, but she’s also an al Ghul. Can she be trusted? Does the apple fall far from the psychotic family tree? Doig recently spoke with CBR about making Talia a badass, mentoring Oliver, her possible connections to Prometheus and the inevitable showdown with Nyssa.

  2. ARROW’S PROMETHEUS SPEAKS OUT ABOUT HIS STUNNING IDENTITY REVEAL (Date: 01 March 2017)
Speaking to CBR and other reporters, Segarra opened up about his role as Prometheus and how he balanced Adrian Chase’s two very different identities. He also shared some stories about how and when he learned about the big twist, as well as why he studied up on Vigilante before arriving in Vancouver to start filming Season 5. “I’m telling them, ‘Oh, I’m playing this guy… I don’t really know too much about him, but who knows? It’ll be fun, right?’ And then they announced Adrian Chase: Vigilante. And I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh, I’m playing Vigilante!’
So now, I get to Vancouver, I think I’m playing this guy Vigilante. That’s who everybody thought, right? So I start reading ‘Vigilante’ comics and reading about Chase and reading about the history of these guys. Then I get to work and I’m talking to Marc. I’m like, ‘Marc, man, I’m really doing my research. I’m really being studious about this Vigilante guy.’ And he’s like, ‘What do you mean?’ And I’m like, ‘Oh, dude, you announced it finally! I’m going to be a great Adrian Chase: Vigilante!’ And he says, ‘That’s not who you’re playing.’ ‘What?!’ He’s like, ‘Yeah, you’re playing this guy.’ And that’s when they took me out on the city and they told me everything. So, to put it this way, me and my wife and my doggie, we moved over to Vancouver thinking one thing and it was revealed once I got here who I was actually playing. That whole journey began at that moment. I feel I’ll always look back and laugh at this.”

  3. ARROW EP WENDY MERICLE ADDRESSES PROMETHEUS’ IDENTITY & MOTIVATIONS (Date: 01 March 2017)

GREEN ARROW COMICS & TOY NEWS

  1. FUNKO UNVEILS WONDER WOMAN MOVIE TOY LINE (Date: 17 Feb 2017)
While the average Funko comic character is brightly colored, this version of Wonder Woman is tinted sepia; with the Pop! and Rock Candy figures, you feel as if you’re looking at her through a photo filter. That certainly appears to match the aesthetic of director Patty Jenkins’ film. Also notable is Diana’s weapons of choice: Although her famed Lasso of Truth is slung on her belt, she wields a sword and shield, emphasizing her role as a warrior. In addition to the Amazon Princess, there will also be Pop! figures of Steve Trevor and Queen Hippolyta.

The Starling Tribune? @StarlingTribune  Mar 1 Vigilante is NOT Prometheus! Called it!
Roy Phillips? @MadbanditRoy –   @StarlingTribune But if Adrian’s Prometheus, who’s Vigilante? #Arrow
kayrennnnn? @smolsivanarmy    @MadbanditRoy @StarlingTribune maybe Susan?
Roy Phillips? @MadbanditRoy –  @smolsivanarmy @StarlingTribune It would make sense, but why expose Ollie?
The Starling Tribune? @StarlingTribune –   @MadbanditRoy @smolsivanarmy We never got to find out what Susan planned to do w/info.
Roy Phillips? @MadbanditRoy –  @StarlingTribune @smolsivanarmy True. I’m just wondering what’s Vigilante’s motivation, and I think Adrian’s not the “real Adrian”.
kayrennnnn? @smolsivanarmy – @MadbanditRoy @StarlingTribune yeah, it seems like there is something up with how he acts, mind control maybe

      Finale at Oak Hill Cemetery

      • Tells Captain Pike to not go after GA – 1st time: you know, because

      • Feeling guilty over killing Billy Malone; flees ACU
      • Upset at Thea – she made a choice to destroy Susan, not a mistake; this is something Momma Moira would do; time for a heart-to-heart talk (off-screen)

ARROW NEWS:

  1. Arrow Episode 18 Gets A Title And Starts Production (Date: 18 Feb 2017)
Executive producer Marc Guggenheim shared the cover page of the episode 18 script on Twitter, stating that it has started production. “Disbanded” is written by Rebecca Bellotto and directed by J.J. Makaro. The team has been in flux all season, with Diggle being out for certain periods of time, Artemis betraying the team, and the loss of Ragman. Curtis and Wild Dog have managed to stick around, though, and the team seems poised to finally get a new Black Canary full time. It would be unfortunate for Olliver’s ragtag group to dissolve so quickly, but that definitely might be the case.

  2. SUPERGIRL SET PICS CONFIRM KEVIN SMITH, LYNDA CARTER’S RETURN (Date: 21 Feb 2017)
In one Instagram post, Kevin Smith holds up a hockey jersey emblazoned with a Superman ‘S,’ and a trademark goofy look on his face. The post raves about Daxamite technology, so it looks like Smith’s episode will be resolving the ongoing mystery of Mon-El and the aliens who would see him captured. The other post has Smith teaming up with none other than Wonder Woman herself, Lynda Carter! This season has seen Carter taking up none other than the mantle of President of the United States, and the seal on the wall behind the two of them confirms that she is returning to reprise the role.

  3. LEGENDS OF TOMORROW SEASON FINALE TO FEATURE JRR TOLKIEN (Date: 21 Feb 2017)
According to a cast list for the upcoming season two finale, the show will soon include J.R.R. Tolkien. Executive producer Marc Guggenheim shared a cast list for the season finale episode, titled “Aruba,” on Twitter. The cast list includes all the usual suspects, like the “Legends” team and the members of the Legion of Doom. It also includes a surprise guest star: J.R.R. Tolkien, played by Jack Turner (Freeform’s “Stitchers”). Since we haven’t seen a synopsis for “Aruba” just yet, we don’t actually know if this is the J.R.R. Tolkien or just another person with that incredibly specific and unique name. The cast list also includes a few other surprise names. Wentworth Miller and Katie Cassidy will reprise their roles as Leonard Snart and Laurel Lance, respectively.

  4. FLASH SET PICS TEASE MYSTERY CHARACTER’S ARRIVAL, KEVIN SMITH’S RETURN (Date: 20 Feb 2017)
It’s worth pointing out that Kevin Smith was seen in the area of filming as well, leading some to speculate that the director is stepping behind the camera one more time.

  8. THE FLASH REVEALS ANOTHER DC HERO’S TV DEBUT WITH NEW PHOTO (Date: 23 Feb 2017)
The CW’s “The Flash” has found its Accelerated Man in Sean Poague. Poague’s Accelerated Man will debut on February 28 in the episode “Attack on Central City.” A new photo from the episode reveals the comic-accurate look of Poague’s Accelerated Man, who is a Speed Force Conduit and Earth-19’s version of the Flash. In the comics, Earth-19 is ruled by the 21st Century’s King George and has only just begun enjoying “electric technology.” As a Speed Force conduit in this strange dimension, Accelerated Man enjoys a massively increased heal rate, increased perception, the ability to phase through solid objects and, of course, super speed — basically, he’s the Flash.

ARROW CAST & CREW NEWS

  1. Arrow: Stephen Amell reflects on Oliver’s legacy, teases potential tragedy (Date: 21 Feb 2017)
As Prometheus plans his endgame, so does Arrow — at least in terms of the original five-year plan for the series. (Don’t worry, Arrow has already been renewed for season 6.) EW hit the set of the Vancouver-based series to get Amell’s take on Oliver’s current predicaments as the show builds toward its big season 5 finale.

ARROW NEWS:

  1. Spoiler Room: Scoop on The Flash, Once Upon a Time, Supergirl, and more (Date: 10 Feb 2017)
Will Oliver find out what’s really going on with Felicity on Arrow soon? —
Not for several episodes, but you may be surprised by his reaction. “He knows that she’s into something, and he knows that she doesn’t want to tell him about it, so he’s dealing with that in his own way,” Stephen Amell tells me. “For Felicity, it’s not something that she and Oliver discuss until they have what is actually an adult conversation about it in [a future episode].”
Did you get any Flash scoop on Killer Frost? —
When asked how Cisco would try to help Caitlin quell her Killer Frost tendencies, Carlos Valdes dropped a truth bomb: “Caitlin has some secrets of her own that are going to come to light and are going to change not just the dynamic of the team, but also her own feelings about her dynamic within the team,” he says. “It all comes to a head.” Make of that what you will.

  2. Vigilante Attacks Oliver Queen in “Fighting Fire With Fire” (Date: 10 Feb 2017)
He’s gone after Team Arrow before — but always in the name of his own ultra-violent code of justice. So why is Vigilante trying to kill Mayor Oliver Queen? Fans will find out on March 1, when the DC antihero returns to menace city hall. Synopsis: Oliver (Stephen Amell) faces his biggest challenge yet as mayor. Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) continues down her dark path with Helix. After Vigilante attacks Oliver while he’s acting as the mayor, Diggle (David Ramsey) leads the team in a mission to stop Vigilante once and for all.

  3. Arrow Showrunners On Why They Wanted To Do A Gun Violence Episode (Date: 12 Feb 2017)
“Well, we went into season 5 wanting to do an episode about an issue,” Guggenheim said during a screening of the episode. “I’m old, so what does this mean? It means that I grew up on St. Elsewhere and Picket Fences and LA Law. I grew up in a time where it was commonplace, like literally every week, for a one-hour drama to tackle the issues of the day. Somewhere along the line we got away from that — like, the whole industry got away from that. And now you’ve got like Blackish and Carmichael Show, but as far as network dramas are concerned? Really not tackling current events, current issues. So we went into season 5 with the desire to. It’s the fifth season; we’ve hopefully earned the freedom to, in 23 episodes of television, you can have 22 episodes of candy and one episode of vegetables. We sort of felt that gun violence felt like the right topic, because of its topicality but also because of the level of gun violence that’s on Arrow. We could have done an episode on abortion, but that’s not really where the show lives, so gun violence sort of felt like the right thing to tackle.”

  4. Arrow Boss Explains Thea’s Absence, Obstacle Facing Laurel’s Next Return (Date: 14 Feb 2017)
“Everyone’s like, ‘Where’s Thea? Where’s Thea?’ Willa’s [contracted for] 14 out of 23 episodes this year,” Guggenheim revealed. “She’s not in all 23. That’s not her contract. We’ve had to write around that.” Contractual matters also may prove a hurdle in bringing Katie Cassidy back for another encore as one Laurel or another, even though Cassidy (as reported over the summer) entered the season with one of those #DCTV-wide deals that theoretically would allow her to pop up on Arrow or any of its many offspring.
“We have an idea for how to see [Katie] again, but we haven’t made a deal with her,” Guggenheim shared. “She’s not a series regular anymore, so we have to make a contract with her, and she’s got to be available. We haven’t had those conversations. But… we know exactly what we do want to do.

  5. Will Arrow Bring Back Suicide Squad Characters? Here’s What David Ramsey Says (Date: 13 Feb 2017)
David Ramsey recently spoke with CinemaBlend about all things John Diggle, and he told me this about Digg’s future with the Suicide Squad on Arrow: “I can say that we have all the elements. Part of what John Diggle brings to the team is his relationship with ARGUS through his wife Lyla. We’re waiting to see how that plays itself out. Diggle was freed last week, and Oliver said to him ‘You can go home and hug your wife and son.’ So that’s a real viable part of Diggle that we have always seen on camera, but it would be nice to see more because he’s married to the leader of the Suicide Squad. What does that play out? How does that look? What are those conversations like? We have all the elements of it… I think we have the makings of it. ARGUS is a real viable part of our whole universe, of Legends, Flash, and Arrow. And Diggle just so happens to be married to the leader of ARGUS, so it’s right there ready for the picking.”

  6. Arrow EPs Tease Thea’s Role Going Forward in Season 5 (Date: 15 Feb 2017)
“She’s headed in a direction that’s very similar to where her mother was before she was killed in Season 2. We’re excited about it.” revealed Wendy Mericle. “I’m actually really excited about her storyline because we’re taking her to a place where she’s been dealing with all of these issues the same way Oliver has, with her bloodlust and with her other elements of her past. And this season’s going to find her in a similar place but for very different reasons. There’s gonna be a great scene coming up between Oliver and Thea that’s one of my favorites on the show.”

  7. Arrow EP Teases Prometheus’s Next Move (Date: 15 Feb 2017)
According to one of the show’s executive producers, however, that is all about to change with next week’s episode, entitled ‘The Sin-Eater’. Marc Guggenheim recently revealed that not only will the villain appear in the February 22nd episode, but his past actions will start to connect. Guggenheim wants fans to keep an eye out for the conclusion of the episode, as it will particularly reveal parts of the villain’s motive. “The episode ends, I think, with sort of the next key move in Prometheus’ grand plan.”

  8. Arrow EP: Oliver Will Make Star City Better — As Mayor (Date: 15 Feb 2017)
“One of the things we went into season five with the mindset of is Oliver’s mayor, so without it turning into The West Wing, how are we going to find ways to have Oliver be active as mayor, and to everyone’s surprise, be a good mayor, end up being a good mayor,” explained executive producer Marc Guggenheim during a screening of tonight’s episode, “Spectre of the Gun.” “And you’ll start to see, actually – and this is true in next week’s episode, in episode 14 – Thea’s going to make a good case to Oliver, of all people, for all the things he’s accomplished as mayor, and you start to see like, oh wait, in the first 13 episodes, he actually kind of did some stuff. And he’s not done yet. Obviously, the season’s not done yet. But we definitely went into the season with the goal of showing that Oliver is actually much better at this job than you might expect.”

  9. Arrow: Marc Guggenheim On What Makes Oliver Different From his Villains (Date: 15 Feb 2017)
This season on Arrow, Ollie has been even more affected by that conundrum. He constantly finds himself toe-ing the line between what’s right and wrong. According to Marc Guggenheim, Oliver is going to continue that struggle throughout this season. Not only will the rest of this season see Oliver explore that struggle, but the show will also explore what that means for Arrow’s entire world. “One of the things we are doing in the back half of Season 5 is really getting underneath that and what that means, not just in terms of morality but in terms of psychology — specifically Oliver’s psychology. There’s things about Oliver’s killing that you have yet to learn.”

  10. The New Black Canary Gets A Mask In These New Images From Next Week’s ARROW (Date: 16 Feb 2017)
With Laurel Lance unlikely to return at any point in the near future, Dinah Drake looks set to take over the Black Canary mantle in Arrow. However, The CW series is taking a slow burn approach to that, but she finally gets a mask in these new images.

GENERAL DC TV NEWS

  1. THE FLASH SET PHOTOS HINT AT MUSICAL’S 1940s SETTING (Date: 11 Feb 2017)
The latest photos from the British Columbia set of “The Flash” suggest the musical crossover with “Supergirl” may partly take place during the 1940s. Snapped on the streets of New Westminster, a city just southeast of Vancouver, the images reveal rows of 1940s-era automobiles, as well as actors Jesse L. Martin, Victor Garber and John Barrowman in period attire. According to Hollywood North.Buzz, the scenes were to involve car chases with gangsters, but no singing.

  2. The Flash: First Look at Grodd’s Nemesis Solovar! (Date: 16 Feb 2017)
The CW has now released a new batch of photos from “Attack on Gorilla City,” including the first two images of Solovar. As you can see, Solovar — who is being voiced by Keith David (The Thing, Community) — is being depicted as a giant, white gorilla. That’s a noticeable departure from his comic book counterpart, who looks like a regular gorilla but wears a fancy red cape. Created by writer John Broome and artist Carmine Infantino, Solovar made his first appearance in The Flash #106 alongside Gorilla Grodd and Pied Piper.

  2. DC Rebirth: [SPOILER] Returns in Batman and the Flash’s Watchmen Crossover Mystery (Date: 13 Feb 2017)
A mysterious figure in Superman, a mysterious button in the Flash, a returning Wally West in Titans, and an imprisoned Legionnaire in Batman have all contributed clues to the overall mystery, but we’ve yet to see any answers. That’s all set to change with a crossover between the Batman and Flash titles, with Tom King, Jason Fabok, Joshua Williamson, and Howard Porter all set to put the world’s greatest detectives on a path to find out the significance of that blood-stained smiley face. The crossover begins April 19 in Batman #21.
