1. Vigilante – But we’ve done that at least once before — and we think twice, so at this point we think it’s pretty well-covered ground that Adrian Chase was in the comics a costumed antihero known as Vigilante before he eventually took his own life out of the remorse he felt for abandoning the rule of law he had sworn to uphold his entire adult life.
2. The Torah – “Is that from the Torah?” Oliver asks Rory before the Moby-Dick metaphor starts. That’s a not-so-subtle nod to Ragman’s Jewish heritage, which has been mentioned before. It’s worth a note that Rory and Felicity’s Jewish heritage makes the current incarnation of Team Arrow probably the most diverse groups of superheroes ever assembled on TV, with Oliver being the only non-ethnic male on the team. It’s happened without much in the way of the fanfare and attention these things usually get, so it seems worth at least a mention.
3. Channel 52 – Here, it’s Channel 52’s news story when Oliver is checking on Dunn.
4. McGuire’s ? – It’s not clear whether McGuire’s (which could also be Maguire’s or McGwire’s) bar is actually meant to be a reference, but if it is, it’s likely to Bridget McGuire, who was an art director on Arrow’s first two seasons.
5. ..IS THAT A ‘ROCKY IV’ REFERENCE? – Because it’s Dolph Lundgren playing a big Russian, we’re going to be looking for references to Rocky IV pretty much every week until we’re sure we’ve seen one. That said, wrapping his hands in gauze like you do before you put your boxing gloves on (yes, we know his hands were injured. Still!), and then having him unleash a hail of haymakers on Oliver carries a little bit of an Ivan Drago context to it, doesn’t it?
6. John Jr. – This is the first time we’ve seen John Diggle, Jr. actually appear onscreen! He’s a cute kid. He also, if you remember, used to be Sara Diggle (named for the then-dead-now-better Sara Lance) before Barry Allen traveled back in time and changed history in the “Flashpoint” event.
7. HUB CITY – “The Marshals are halfway to Hub City by now,” Lyla Michaels tells Diggle. Hub City, a fictional city in the DC Universe, is best known as the home to The Question, a self-taught urban shaman. While The Question didn’t appear when Oliver visited the city last year, mystic Esrin Fortuna seemed like she had a similar role (and since there was a female Question for a while, some fans on Twitter briefly wondered whether that could be what we were seeing unfold).
8. Moby Dick is a novel written by Herman Melville in 1851. The narrator is Ishmael, and he recounts his time on the whaling ship Pequod under the command of Captain Ahab. Ahab recklessly pursues the white whale, Moby Dick, noted for destroying whaling ships. Ahab’s wooden leg is a result of an encounter with Moby Dick.

4. NEW ARROWVERSE CROSSOVER PROMO OFFERS FIRST LOOK AT THE DOMINATORS (Date: 15 Nov 2016)
   In a new promo for the upcoming crossover between “Arrow,” “The Flash,” “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” and “Supergirl,” the Dominators rear their ugly heads. The video reveals a few glimpses of the “Arrow”-verse’s latest threat: yellow, mind-controlling aliens with needle-like teeth and large red spots on their foreheads. Eagle eyes will spot a glimpse of Deathstroke.

5. All in the Family (Date: 18 Nov 2016)
   Highlights from the article in Entertainment Weekly: The crossover story involves the Dominators, mind-controlling space invaders alarmed by Earth’s surging population of metahumans. 15 characters from the 4 shows will assemble in an aeronautics facility that’s part of STAR labs. This is when Barry Allen introduces Supergirl to the group. At first Diggle is not sure why Supergirl is special, but gets impressed when she hovers. Berlanti is not a fan of the shows being called the “Berlantiverse.” According to him, “There are just so many people that are also part of this. Plus, you never want anything named after you that people could be upset or angry about.” The creators like that the shows are steeped in genuine relationship drama and that they are about something. “These shows have to work on multiples levels,” says Berlanti, “You want them to be enjoyable. But if they’re not about something, why are you showing up to work every day and asking everybody to pour their heart and soul into a story if it’s only about the Flash fighting a villain of the week?” As for bumps in the road the shows have had? Berlanti says, “We certainly made errors along the way. But that’s been part of the fun, too.” Tidbits about each show after the crossover: Arrow – Prometheus should be unmasked soon. “Always in our midseason finales, we like to revisit the big bad,” hints Berlanti. The Flash – The annual Christmas episode is set to be tearful and will also flesh out villains Savitar and Dr. Alchemy. Legends: Captain Cold and Malcolm Merlyn join the Legion of Doom. Supergirl: A cliffhanger teases the introduction of a famous Superman-Supergirl baddie that has been referenced before.

7. The First Big Story Details For the CW/DC Crossover Event Are Here (Date: 16 Nov 2016)
   Supergirl: After some Thanksgiving drama, the epic superhero crossover kicks off when Barry Allen  and Cisco Ramon seek Kara’s help with an alien invasion on their Earth. The Flash: When aliens called the Dominators attack Central City, Barry speeds over to Star City to ask the Green Arrow for help in stopping them. Realizing the battle against the Dominators is bigger than they thought, they track down the Legends of Tomorrow, and Barry and Cisco create a breach to bring back a secret weapon – Supergirl. Once all of the super friends are assembled, they come up with a plan to attack but a shocking secret related to Flashpoint is revealed and suddenly no one is sure who they can trust. Arrow: The 100th episode – Oliver  wakes up to a life where he never got on The Queen’s Gambit. Robert and Moira Queen are alive and well. Laurel is his loving fiancée and their wedding is imminent. Everything seems perfect, but Oliver starts to notice small imperfections that make him question this new reality. Meanwhile, Felicity and the recruits take on a new threat with help from The Flash and Supergirl. Legends: After learning the Dominators’ plan for the world, the Legends must work together with The Flash, Supergirl and Green Arrow to kill them once and for all. Meanwhile, Stein figures out, with the help of others, how the team can terminate the Dominators, but is distracted by the aberration he realizes he created in 1987.

8. ‘Arrow’ Season 5: Dolph Lundgren On Konstantin Kovar Guest Arc (Date: 16 Nov 2016)
   Lundgren told AccessHollywood.com more about his new role, what convinced him to join the show and about meeting “Arrow’s” Stephen Amell while the series star was in what sounds like his flashback sequences wig. When asked if he was having fun doing the show, Lundgren replied, “Yes, it has been a blast. It’s fun to play this character. I think he was well-written and I have a lot of fun with it, and the fact that I don’t really know where it’s going is interesting because I have to keep the character alive sort of within myself over quite a long period of [time]. … I know it’s going to be six months for sure because I’m doing some stuff in February. So yeah, that’s interesting. And yeah, it’s sort of endearing to have this Kovar fellow be there almost every day in my life too, to be ready for the next shot. So I’m enjoying it. I’m sure the future will be even better.”

2. The Flash in Vancouver’s Victory Square with Iris West & big bad Savitar? (Date: 10 Nov 2016)
   Is that the god of motion Savitar in the motion capture suit? The Flash season 3’s Big Bad. Seen was the latest of a sequence with the Flash, Iris West and a mo-cap actor believed to be season Big Bad Savitar in the southwest corner of the park. The mo-cap actor is big next to the Flash.

3. Savitar: The Flash’s newest speedster, explained (Date: 14 Nov 2016)
   The series is bringing in the villainous Savitar for the current third season. Savitar was brought into the “Flash” comics way back in 1995’s “The Flash” (Vol. 2) #108 by writer Mark Waid and artist Oscar Jimenez. Savitar has the ability to transfer speed from one being to another. Thus, he’s able to power an entire army of ninjas with energy from the Speed Force, using them to steal speed from existing speedsters. We soon learn that Savitar is a self-proclaimed god who formed a Speed Force-obsessed cult for himself, developing a messiah complex along the way. Savitar got his powers amidst the Cold War as a fighter pilot that accidentally broke the sound barrier.

4. Justice League Dark Trailer Released (Date: 15 Nov 2016)
   The trailer is just under two minutes, but it packs in plenty of action. The footage shows the Justice League scrambling to end a global phenomena being caused by dark magic. When it comes to casting, Justice League Dark nabbed several big names from the DC Animated Universe. Jason O’Mara will voice Batman while Matt Ryan will play Constantine. Zatanna will be voiced by Camilla Luddington, Deadman by Nicholas Turturro, and Etrigan by Ray Chase. Rosario Dawson will play Wonder Woman, and Superman will be voiced by Jerry O’Connell. Justice League Dark is expected to hit DVD, Blu-ray, and Digital HD in early 2017.

5. IS DC’S KOBRA DEBUTING IN THE CW’S SUPERHERO CROSSOVER? (Date: 15 Nov 2016)
   In addition to the arrival of the pointy-eared antagonists, the teaser also included the first look at Citizen Steel’s helmet, the return of Deathstroke — and the first glimpse of a new, intimidating logo we haven’t seen before. Now, the question arises: who’s icon is that? In a recent report, it was revealed that the CW version of the Dominators utilize a form of mind control, a departure from their comic book counterparts. The logo seen in the trailer has us thinking, perhaps there’s another, longer-lasting reason the alien invaders will be employing this technique in their battle for Earth. In the comics, the Kobra Cult is a terrorist organization dedicated to controlling the world. In short, exactly the sort of group the Arrowverse loves to introduce as foils to its heroes, and one whose debut during a crossover of this magnitude could lay the seeds for multiple storylines across future seasons for every DC/CW show.

1. So It Begins: As Felicity notes in the episode, the title (and also that little message in fire left for Oliver a la the Daredevil movie) is a line from Babylon 5. Specifically, it was spoken by Kosh in the episode “Chrysalis,” and became an oft-repeated/referenced quote from the series. Michelle’s addition: Kosh is the Vorlon Empire’s Ambassador to Babylon 5. The line is said to Sinclair and refers to Delenn starting her transformation.  
2. Aparo & Puckett: Tobias Church’s stolen cell phone turned up in a warehouse on Aparo and Puckett — two streets named after veteran DC Comics creators Jim Aparo and Kelley Puckett. Puckett is a writer best known for his work on the Batman family of titles; Among his most notable works are the co-creations of the Cassandra Cain Batgirl and Connor Hawke, the son of Oliver Queen. Aparo is one of the most recognizable Batman artists of his era; his last ongoing series assignment before he passed away was Green Arrow #81-100 in the ’90s, during which time he and Puckett introduced Connor Hawke.
3. Ishmael Gregor – David Meunier, known to TV fans for his role on FX’s Justified, joined the cast of Arrow tonight as Ishmael Gregor. Gregor in the comics is a character who’s been known to make a physical transformation into a demon, complete with magical powers, but considering remarks by the showrunners about a more grounded Season Five, it seems likely that his primary role will be as a human running the Russian mob.
4. Worth mentioning – Konstantin Kovar appeared onscreen for the first time in this week’s episode, played by Hollywood action legend Dolph Lundgren. Channel 52 makes yet another appearance. Callbacks to early seasons include Oliver’s tennis ball-training session, the appearance of The List, and all those names on it.

4. Arrow: there’s more to Anatoly Knyazev than meets the eye, says Nykl (Date: 09 Nov 2016)
   At the celebration for “Arrow’s” 100th episode, David Nykl — who plays Knyazev — spoke to CBR about his character’s evolution, whether or not Anatoly has ulterior motives and more. “Calling someone a bad character is always a misnomer, because no one’s really bad; they’re either misunderstood or they’re just trying to do something and they’re not going about it the right way. I really think he’s just a simple sort of guy that has got caught up in deeper situations. There’s more to him than meets the eye.”

5. Arrow: Amell calls Dolph Lundgren’s character a ‘worthy adversary’ (Date: 09 Nov 2016)
   On the way Dolph works on set, Stephen Amell said, “He’s very thoughtful and contemplates his lines and he has been great so far, but it’s a real change of pace. I do think it would have been a missed opportunity in the last year of these flashbacks to not have a really worthy adversary. We found that in Dolph, which is why he’ll be around for a while. 6. Arrow’s Josh Segarra reveals what excites him about playing Vigilante (Date: 09 Nov 2016)
   Next week’s episode of Arrow, titled “Vigilante,” will center on the character of Star City District Attorney Adrian Chase (played by actor Josh Segarra), and introduce his costumed alter ego, Vigilante. He told ComicBook.com during the Arrow 100th episode party that they were working hard not to disappoint anybody who read the comics and had expectations for the character. “The biggest question that I have for myself as an actor is ‘why does this person become the person that they are?'” Segarra said. “So what’s going to be hard is that in the middle of the season I get to introduce Vigilante. So now I’m getting to tell that backstory and we get to tell the biggest pieces and get to show him becoming who he is before episode 7.”

7. Should Arrow end after season 5? Stephen Amell, EP Marc Guggenheim discuss (Date: 10 Nov 2016)
   The article examines why season 5 could be a natural ending, but Marc Guggenheim says, “No, I think we tend to look at season 5 as the end of a particular chapter.” Arrow doesn’t seem to be in any danger of cancellation at present; while ratings are down from last season, it remains one of The CW’s four most-watched programs. The show’s longevity seems to surprise even the producers. The flashback storyline was always “a five-year deal,” says Guggenheim, and they intend to stick with that plan. “The show just turned out to be more successful than we anticipated.”  Also Stephen Amell discusses why season 4 disappointed him at times and how he likes the renewed focus of season 5.

   Sara Lance can’t kill Damien Darhk because of the consequences. In an interview with ComicBook.com she said, “The thing is, I can’t kill him. If I kill him in 1942 or 1952, all of those years that he was supposed to do everything would be messed up; it’s a big change to history. So I wouldn’t be able to even kill him. I think she’s struggling, now that she’s captain, with this higher sense of purpose. It’s not just all about her; she has to consider other people. You see what happens with Barry Allen when he changed the timeline. She’s coming around and being like ‘I have to accept this,’ but I still think there’s something in her that is always going to want to change it and I don’t know, if she had the opportunity, if she would pass it up. I think it’s still a big area of conflict for her. And of course she misses her sister.”

6. ‘DC’s Legends of Tomorrow’ gets order for 4 more episodes from the CW (Date: 09 Nov 2016)
   The CW has picked up four additional episodes of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, bringing the series’ second season to 17 episodes.The time-travel series has been one of the stronger ratings performers for the CW with steady deliveries and strong time-shifted viewing, averaging 2.3 million viewers and a 0.9 Adults 18-49 rating (most current). It has improved the Thursday 8 PM time period by +35% in viewers and +13% in 18-49  vs. last fall when The Vampire Diaries aired there.

   As to whether or not Digg will confront Barry over the fact, Ramsey added, “Yes. The eighth episode [of ‘Arrow’] is going to have a lot of big things coming out of it, and that’s going to be one of them. Yes.” Ramsey also weighed in how Digg will react to the idea of an alien invasion, which will take place over the course of The CW’s four-show crossover this fall. “How is he going to react to seeing a woman fly across the horizon in a skirt? That’s an even better question!” he shared. “All of this flips Digg out, but I think he’s slowly getting a grip that this is the world that he now lives in and that’s part of his journey as well this season.”

   Asked what he thought of Oliver’s enduring legacy as Green Arrow, Amell told CBR, “He’s very tough on [the new recruits], but then — in private moments, speaking with people he holds in close confidence — he sort of extols their virtues. So I think that he’s proud, but again, being a vigilante (and I think that he would agree with this) is the last resort, not the first resort. In a perfect world, Star City wouldn’t need a Green Arrow. So I think that the proliferation of them, while heartening in some sense and encouraging, is also a reminder that he hasn’t gotten the job done.” As to whether or not this job could ever truly be done, he added, “Of course!    Wendy Mericle spoke to CBR about finding a balance between “Arrow’s” legacy and the crossover event, the future of the show, Green Lantern Easter eggs, female super-villains and more. About the 100th episode, she said, “It’s the 100th and we wanted it to be very nostalgic and very much about the DNA of “Arrow,” of the show when it started. We feel really lucky. We found a way to balance the fact that we do now live in a world where there are metas and there are aliens. Greg Berlanti came up with this brilliant way of accomplishing that and making it very much a love letter to the fans and to the show.”

   At the celebration of “Arrow’s” 100th episode, Paul Blackthorne — who plays Quentin — told CBR that Thea’s offer of help will lead the two to develop a father/daughter relationship as the season moves forward. He said, “We both felt the characters wouldn’t realize that was happening for quite a long time. It’s not like, ‘Oh, she feels like my daughter!’ It’s quite unspoken, but of course it does certainly feel like that.    Instead of Question coming to Star City, it looks like Team Arrow might be heading to Hub City instead.“Headed out of town…” he wrote. The caption was attached to an image advertising Hub City’s premium development potential. At the bottom right-hand corner of the advert, fans can see that the advert is associated with Arrow’s eleventh episode this season. Currently, fans have not been told what title the episode will carry, but fans are now wondering if it will have anything to do with the Question.

7. ‘The Walking Dead’ actress Juliana Harkavy joining ‘Arrow’ (Date: 01 Nov 2016)
   Juliana Harkavy (“The Walking Dead,” “Constantine”) is joining CW’s “Arrow.” Harkavy will have a recurring role as Tina Boland, a detective formerly of Central City. Boland is brash yet tactful, tough, speaks her mind, and is not the easiest person to impress. She also has a problem with vigilantes.Harkavy’s character will join in the back half of the season.

8. ‘Arrow’ casts Lexa Doig as Talia al Ghul (Date: 02 Nov 2016)
   Lexa Doig (“V,” “Stargate SG-1,” “Continuum”) has been cast in a recurring role as Talia al Ghul, Variety has learned. Talia is the daughter of Ra’s — who was the main villain in “Arrow’s” third season, played by Matt Nable — and the half-sister of Nyssa al Ghul, who’s played by Katrina Law. Talia, like Nyssa, is an elite warrior, excelling in multiple different forms of combat. Unlike her sister though, she refuses to pick sides and instead creates her own. Doig’s first appearance as Talia will be in the tenth episode of Season 5.

9. Superhero TV maven Greg Berlanti says Arrow has as much hope and optimism as other DC shows  (Date: 02 Nov 2016)
   Arrow has never shied away from gritty violence, consequences, and other storytelling tools that often feel out of place in the technicolor world of many superhero adaptations. “In some ways, there can be some episodes of Arrow that can be just as optimistic in their own way, especially given the perils that they’re up against,” Berlanti told ComicBook.com during a recent event celebrating the hundredth episode of Arrow. “It’s definitely a darker-toned show in a lot of regards, but it’s always the relationships and those are just as emotional and deep and fun.”

4. Tuesday night ratings war: Flash hits new low, still beats Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (Date: 02 Nov 2016)
   The early ratings for Tuesday are out, and if the numbers hold steady, CW’s The Flash will have hit an all-time low with 2.71 million viewers and a .9 rating in the 18-49 demographic, coveted by advertisers for its purchasing power. That’s still better than the once mighty Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., however, which seems to have settled into a .8 rating with 2.52 million viewers, even despite the recent addition of Ghost Rider.

1. The Name Game – Artemis and Mr. Terrific got their names this week
2. Kord Industries – Kord Industries, a fixture in seasons 2 and 3 but less common in 4 and so far in 5, is the name of the tech company owned and operated by Ted Kord. In the comics, Ted is one of three people who have gone by the name of Blue Beetle. A heroic legacy that started in 1940, Kord’s version of the Blue Beetle was the most Green Arrow-like: an inventor and industrialist who didn’t have any special powers but who did have a lot of tech, mostly Beetle-themed. It’s rumored that he was supposed to be the character who eventually evolved into Ray Palmer, but DC had other plans for the character — widely believed to be the forthcoming Booster Gold movie.
3. Tech Village – This not-quite-a-Best-Buy is the name of the store where Felicity Smoak worked at the beginning Arrow’s third season. This may be the first time it’s had an in-story reference in at least a full season that wasn’t just a brief callback to “Felicity worked there once.” It is also, due to Ray Palmer’s attempts to recruit Felicity to work for him, a subsidiary of Palmer Tech.
4. Palmer Tech – Of course, this is the company formerly owned by Ray Palmer, and then Felicity Smoak. Before that, it was Oliver’s company, which he signed over to Ravager as part of Deathstroke’s attack on Oliver and the city. It’s unclear who owns it now — maybe it’s just whichever stockholder has a plurality and nobody exciting at all — but after four years of the company being one of the most regularly-used sets on the show, this is the first time we’ve gone back this year.
5. Amertek – Church took RPGs from Amertek? We weren’t going to mention Amertek necessarily, since we just talked about it a couple of episodes ago, but it’s definitely worth noting that in the comics, the company’s most notorious weapon is a modified RPG colloquially called a Toastmaster, which was designed by John Henry Irons during his time working for Ametek.
6. Cell 1138 – John’s cell number is a nod to THX 1138, George Lucas’s directorial debut. It’s arguably better known among the average moviegoer for giving the first bit of its name to THX, Lucas’s revolutionary sound system, but the film itself remains one of Lucas’s best-reviewed works and a reminder that he did great work outside of just Star Wars and Indiana Jones. It’s worth noting that at one point in the film, the title character THX and one of his fellow prisoners (SEN 5241) stage a jail break from a facility where most of the other inmates have no desire to leave — kind of like Diggle had no desire to leave at the start of the episode.
7. Molecular Destabilizer – That spray, used to immediately and dramatically destabilize the molecules in anything it’s sprayed on (how does it stay in the bottle?), feels like a nod to the universal solvent in the first arc of All-Star Squadron.In that story, a solvent designed by villain Dr. Zodiak was used to dissolve everything from walls to guns, and made the gimmick weapons used by a number of Justice Society of America members pretty useless.
8. Callback – This one is kind of an odd mention, but it’s interesting to note that Friedkin’s comments to Oliver in jail — “do you think you scare me more than him?” — are echoed in the present day almost immediately by the man being interrogated by Adrian Chase.

1. Marc Guggenheim reveals the title of Arrow’s 100th episode (Date: 23 Oct 2016)
   While Arrow takes its hundredth episode to celebrate the four-plus seasons that have come before, it also has to balance the needs of a four-show crossover that will bring Supergirl into The Flash, Arrow, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. Guggenheim said, “Arrow episode 508 is called ‘Invasion!’ with the exclamation point. And Legends of Tomorrow 207 is going to be ‘Invasion!’. I’ll leave it up to you to guess what The Flash is called.”

2. Is Tommy Merlyn really Prometheus? (Date:23 Oct 2016)
   The article discusses the possibility that Tommy Merlyn could be Prometheus. Tommy could be alive due to Flashpoint or Malcolm using the Lazarus pit. Since producers like Marc Guggenheim has said “Oliver bears a measure of responsibility for the creation of Prometheus,” longtime viewers are convinced the villain is more so connected to Oliver as a person than as a vigilante.

3. Stephen Amell posts bloody Arrow selfie (Date: xx month year)
   “Arrow” lead Stephen Amell has posted a bloody selfie indicating that he shot quite a violent scene over the weekend. Amell is sporting long locks and facial hair, indicating that this beating he takes will occur during one of “Arrow’s” trademark flashback sequences.

4. David Ramsey reveals how Diggle will respond to Flashpoint changes (Date:24  Oct 2016)
   Flashpoint changed Diggle’s family. How will Diggle handle the revelation? “Much more compassionately than you might think,” Ramsey said. “Diggle can’t miss anything he’s never had and ‘Flashpoint’ changes history — it changes his history directly — so he never can really miss Baby Sara anymore, because he never had her, but he is concerned about Barry. Barry’s actions were reckless, and with all that power, being reckless — to someone as disciplined as Diggle — comes as a shock.”

5. Arrow season 5 episode 10 title revealed (Date: 25 Oct 2016)
   Marc Guggenheim has taken to Twitter and finally revealed the title for Season Five’s tenth episode. The tenth episode of Season Five is called “Who Are You?” Guggenheim informed fans that the episode was now in production under director’s Gregory Smith guidance.

   Wild Dog. Artemis. Ragman. Aside from their involvement in Team “Arrow,” fans know virtually nothing about Oliver Queen’s new recruits — but that’s about to change. 9. The comic book history of the Vigilante  (Date: 26 Oct 2016)
   The article focuses on the Adrian Chase story as that is the version currently popping up on Arrow. His origin was pretty straight forward. His role as a D.A. put him on someone’s hit list and his family got killed because of it. By the second issue of the series, Chase was already questioning his choice of taking the law into his own hands. The character was a unique look into the side of vigilantism that doesn’t normally get addressed in comics. We see the physical and legal ramifications and even some of the aspects of getting lost in the battle.

10. Arrow: Is Adrian Chase the Vigilante already? Actor Jose Segarra weighs in (Date: 26 Oct 2016)
    In the season 5 premiere of Arrow, Felicity Smoak showed Oliver Queen an image of somebody wearing ski goggles. Supposedly a police artist’s sketch of an anonymous vigilante working in Star City, Team Arrow haven’t mentioned him again since — although longtime comic book readers recognized him. The image was that of Adrian Chase — better known as Vigilante. So if tonight is Vigilante’s genesis, what’s the deal with that police sketch? We asked Josh Segarra, who plays Chase, to clarify. “That’s what I think is going to be interesting, is what parts of the comic are we going to get to put on the show?” He responded when ComicBook.com asked him about the police sketch. “I know the answer to that but the audience don’t. But that’s what been great is that we’re trying to keep it as much as we can in that world, but also keep it exciting because I don’t want any plot twists to be a thing where people are expecting something and don’t get them.So I’m hoping that we get the right pieces along the way. So now I’m getting to tell that backstory and we get to tell the biggest pieces and get to show him becoming who he is before episode 7.”

11. How Deadshot’s Surprise Cameo Came to Be (Date: 20 Oct 2016)
    Marc Guggenheim was asked how the surprise came to be and it’s actually a pretty simple story.  “It’s always a case-by-case thing. In this case, it was really simple. I went to the writers’ room, this was a pitch on the table, I shot an email off to [DC Comics CCO] Geoff Johns, I got a response back, and Deadshot’s in the episode.”

   A photo posted by “Arrow” actor Rick Gonzalez teased the team-up, which fans will see hit their TV sets in a month’s time. The image shows “Arrow” characters Ragman (Joe Dinicol), Mister Terrific (Echo Kellum) and Wild Dog (Rick Gonzalez) standing alongside other series’ leads the Flash (Grant Gustin) and Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) as well as director James Bamford. This year’s crossover between CW’s DC shows will begin in “Supergirl” on November 28 and continue through the week’s DC shows, including “Flash” on November 29, “Arrow” on November 30 and “Legends of Tomorrow” on December 1.

1. Arrowverse will offer Damien Darhk a chance for redemption (Date: 27 Oct 2016)
   Damien Darhk may have died in the “Arrow” Season 4 finale, but that’s not the end of his story. Neal McDonough — who plays the nefarious head of HIVE — has a recurring role on “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow,” another series in The CW’s “Arrow”-verse, and there he may just find himself on the side of the angels. Asked if there was any way Darhk could be redeemed, McDonough said, “Just had that conversation. Yes. There is one way that we can redeem him.” As to whether or not we’ll see that sometime soon, he added, “At some point, you will.”
