Danykia's life has been intertwined with fantasy and geekiness from the start. Her love of geekiness came from many years watching Star Trek and Star Wars with her father and reading Fantasy books with her mother. She first began writing fantasy stories as a preteen when she became the Dungeon Master of her Dungeons and Dragons group. As avid Player of Magic the Gathering and Yu-gi-oh she found a common soul in her husband, that would lead to owning a gaming shop for a short time before becoming a stay at home wife. When her nose in not buried deep within the creases of a notebook, she enjoys watching tv, hiking, canoeing, and traveling to the far reaches of the galaxy. She is also a avid conservationist, an animal rights activist.
