Wow what a week, we had moments of tears we had moments of joy, and a whole lot of what the H. We had a few shows missing from our normal schedule, witches of East End, will be doing their final, this coming Sunday. And of course the Originals was last week, and was replaced by a special concert series from I Heart Radio.
So Monday we had a interesting almost human not one of my favorites I’ll be honest. I will admit the episode kind gave me nightmares of the Ken Dolls from my childhood. We find out in the beginning of the episode that Dorian has to stay with the rest of the synthetics who is built downstairs like a Ken doll. He asked his partner to get him a private room out of the precinct so that he doesn’t have to live with the other synthetic. I don’t blame him. Body of the story is A median and a nurse witness a murder and our team has to protect the median because after a break in during the trial she’s the only witness left alive. The individual on trial has a good defense he’s actually one of many clones that are running amok. At the end Dorian help the median reconnect with her family which is why she became one to start with.
We continue the night with Sleepy Hollow, which Ichabod is still searching for what happened to his family, after he was playing by the horseman. We find out that his son actually inherited Katrina powers and that he created a golem from a ragdoll he was given when he was young. This golem actually follows Ichabod back from the other side when he confronts Katrina about their child. The help of the soul eater they are able to determine the witches that were into train is coming are actually in town, at the circus. Ichabod confronts them and finds out that they actually put his son to death due to the fact his powers were uncontrollable. It is here, Ichabod has the final confrontation with the golem. He thanks the golem for protecting his son when he could not, before putting the golem to his final rest. So what do you guys think? I enjoyed the episode, I is a little disheartened at the Sun had been dead without an heir. I kinda was expecting, to be honest, that the Soul Eater was his descendant. Actually starting to worry about this series, because come January is ending for the year, I feel like it should be ramping up. You know that whole leave you hanging so you come back next season.
S.h.e.i.l.d by Marvel, was a killer this week. We bring back our teams firsts assignment and see how Mike Peterson is adjusting to life as a not so normal human. Now an Agent of shield they are tasked with taking down a group of individuals that are responsible for the centipede in his arm and after a fire fight they manage to capture one as the others are forced to flee. When they approach to question him the eye detonates killing the captive. But During this Fight the carvoyant is able to capture a glimpse of their real target Agent Coulson. In a move that forces the shields team, they kidnap Mike’s son so that Coulson and him have to make an exchange for the kids life, but when they got to do the exchange the team doesn’t know that the father is not the target. Once the child is safe and Coulson is in their custody the father goes back to save Agent Coulson but is exploded in a oil tanker fire. This was a great episode to watch , my only complaint is ABC should not have shown the commercial for the return, or do a different commercial. Because for a good cliffhanger they shouldn’t have showed Agent Ward alive because the end of the show has him hit with gun fire. Oh well on to Wednesday night.
And man what a night for sure. We started the night off with Midseason finale of Arrow in which we getting introduced to not one but two new super characters. One is not really new, Roy Harper, finally gets his superpowers through the injection of the miracle serum. We also get introduced to flash, at the end when the CSI individual is electric it from the particle accelerator. We also get our mask yeah!!!! So it was a really great show up not going to go into a lot of details with it because every part of it needs to be watched. I can tell you I cannot wait for January 17th, when the show comes back I am ready for that.
We move on to the Tomorrow People, where we find out John has been lying since he got out of the ultra. His final mission as their agent, was to assassinate Stephen’s dad. But during that assassination Stephen dad was able to stop time just as he died to go into limbo. We also find out, just how much Jedikiah love his girlfriend, loves John and loves his nephew. He is able to fake a break out to save John, and killing Miranda. We also find out at the end that the real target is Stephen. The higher ups of ultra are grooming him for some purpose. At the end John kills Steven so that he may try to jump into limbo , and he succeeds. Some questions, are still left, like how much the mother actually knows. I’m glad there are not making her clueless.
We finished our night off with our witches down in New Orleans. On Wednesday night’s AHS: Coven we find out a lot about Lukes past as he lays in a coma from being shot. He is talking to Nan telling her how he was abused by his mother for years, and how she killed Luke’s father using honey bees because he was leaving her for another woman. Maybe I’m odd but I think I would have left her and took the boy so my child would have been okay. We also have the hunter that was Corinella husband finally take a stand but not against the coven instead after Marie Laveau torture him with voodoo he turns the guns on her and her group killing them all. Queenie is the one that stops him right before he is able to kill Marie by usinging her human voodoo to shot both herself and him in the head. There’s a meme going around questioning if she is really dead or just a voodoo doll. Best part of the show had to be Delphine and Queenie where Queenie is trying to force racial tolerance using videos on Delphine in an upstairs room. Though with them all Dead and Marie Laveau running for her life to the coven, will delphine be left there? Stepping back, this show is really starting to hit its climactic end we have 3 maybe 4 episodes left if they follow traditional FX / AHS flow. There are only a few loose ends that need to be tied up, Fiona, the new Supreme, and Kyle. I didn’t include Marie Laveau due to the fact if you go by true New Orleans folk lore the Voodoo Queen can’t die. The First two is obvious, Fiona is going to die and a New Supreme will be crowned. my thoughts is Zoe. But the third is kinda odd when I tell people. Kyle must die he’s not natural, and try as zoe might she can’t make a boy whose body is not whole, mentally stable.
We move on to Thursday for the Midseason finale of the Vampire Diaries. Hmm I don’t know what I want to say about this episode. Well the first thing I’m happy with is at least in Stefan’s eyes there is hope for Katherine, but she is fading quickly, and at the end of the episode she has a heart attack and falls down the stairs. The second thing I was glad to see Matt back in the show. I understand that the first half really centered around Silas and Tessa , but I felt strong Characters such as Matt, Jeremy, Bonnie and Caroline kinda got written under the table. I mean Jermey of All people should have been front and center with the Silas times because he was the last awaken hunter of Tessa’s. She should have had him hunting and killing Silas. But here’s hoping for a stronger second half of the season. Now on to our main group of character we finally meet enzo while Elena is held captive in her fathers old practice. Wes is trying to turn her into patient zero for a vampire blood craving vampire hunter. To buy him time he sends Enzo on a “day trip” to kill Damon, but didn’t realize that Damon had a brother that also wanted to save Elena. Aaron is able to reluctantly show Stefan where to find Elena after after his uncle uses him as bait and doesn’t try to help him. At the end of the episode Damon breaks up it seems with Elena by setting her free. He is so desperate and angry at the same time and thinks he is a monster nobody should love. He is so frustrated with the situations and so desperate that he would rather choose to let Elena live in peace without him than making her question her feelings for him every time a new secret will be revealed. The return episode will be great though this all this drama building up its also their 100th episode.
