2. Arrow Showrunner Reveals Season 7 Premiere Title (Date: 27 June 2018)
   1. Dark days are undoubtedly ahead for the character, who is now stuck in a place filled with prisoners the Green Arrow helped imprison — and it’s only about to get from bad to worse. The new showrunner of Arrow revealed that the title of the Season 7 premiere is “Inmate 4587,” hinting that life behind bars will certainly not be easy for Oliver Queen. Oliver’s inmate number, 4587 is an Easter egg in and of itself, considering that it was the agent number of Vinnie Terranova, the main character of the classic television series Wiseguy. But on top of that, this also isn’t the first time these numbers have appeared in the Arrowverse. Most notably, it was the number of a warehouse in the Legends of Tomorrow episode “Star City 2046,” an episode that presented viewers with a very dark future for Green Arrow’s beloved city.

3. DC Universe Streaming Service Reveals Full Lineup, Comics Reader & Store (Date: 28 June 2018)
   1. Warner Bros. Digital Networks has announced full details of DC Universe, the digital subscription service that will give members access to not only new live-action and animated series, like Titans and Young Justice: Outsiders, but also classic movies and TV shows, a curated selection of digital comics, and exclusive merchandise. Beta access will open in August, ahead of the platform’s planned launch this fall. DC Universe will launch with the live-action Titans, followed in 2019 by Young Justice: Outsiders, the third season of the beloved animated series, and Harley Quinn. They’ll be joined next year by the live-action Swamp Thing and Doom Patrol. Classic DC movies and television shows, including the original Superman films, the first two seasons of Batman: The Animated Series, and the original Wonder Woman will be also be available at launch. The curated library of DC comics will span decades of releases, from Action Comics #1 to recent stories. Once we took her off of her path in 1942, it was always incumbent upon us to return her to that path.
