SP as he is known to his close associates has dedicated his life to working within the system to bring geeky humor and science fiction points of view to the mindless minions in charge of providing the freedoms, security and infrastructure to our lives. Given the opportunity, SP would gladly slip through the Stargate to begin colonizing a new planet and living the Little House On The Prairie life or suit up to mine the solar system's asteroids for precious metals, gems and hidden signs of ancient advanced societies. SP has a lifelong fascination with geeky shows, advanced technologies, revolutionary science and apocalyptic tales.

Better Podcasting #093 – Embracing Emerging Internet Trends

Facebooktwittergoogle_plusredditlinkedinmail

In this week’s show we discuss why it’s important to adapt to change and embrace emerging Internet trends (for example, recognizing how a website is becoming less important than it once was). We’ll not only make suggestions on places to focus on but we’ll also set the stage with some intriguing statistics (and exclusive polls) about the evolution of internet use. In this week’s Better Podcasting Download we’re going to talk about how SoundCloud has been saved again (at least for now) and SP does a quick calculation on how this compares to other podcast media hosts (note: do not this is an approximate calculation based on the best of our knowledge but do not take this as financial advice). Finally, in this week’s Better Podback we’ll take your feedback before Stephen gives a review of the Shure SE215 in ear monitors.

Stephen ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Stephen is a west coast Canadian who enjoys pretty much all things geeky. Whether it's podcasting, playing with tech or just watching a great re-run of Star Trek, Stephen is probably interested in it. GonnaGeek is the brain child of Stephen. You see, for years he has helped run a variety of specific genre websites (such as comics, Star Trek, etc) but sometimes he found himself needing to talk more than just comics... that's why he created GonnaGeek. Stephen is currently the Producer, Editor and a Co-Host of the Official GonnaGeek.com Show (www.gonnageek.com/show/) and Better Podcasting (www.betterpodcasting.com). He also runs www.thepodcastforum.com
