We’re visiting the Kingdom of Arendelle for a Disney Animated movie based on Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tale “The Snow Queen.” This icy tale makes for perfect pre-holiday viewing, and audiences agreed when they spent over a billion dollars at the box office to see it, making it the highest-grossing film of 2013 and the highest-grossing animated film of all time, at that time. And it wasn’t just audiences who felt the magic, critics agreed and the film racked up awards, including two Oscars: Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song. With one sequel already out and another on the way, the franchise featuring the voice talents of Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff, and Josh Gad has become a cultural phenomenon – and Disney clearly has no plans to let it go. But will Frozen be enough to melt the heart of musical skeptic Beef, or will Lobster or Rum Daddy panic and run away to the mountains? Conceal, don’t feel, don’t let them know – at least not until the rating!
