SP as he is known to his close associates has dedicated his life to working within the system to bring geeky humor and science fiction points of view to the mindless minions in charge of providing the freedoms, security and infrastructure to our lives. Given the opportunity, SP would gladly slip through the Stargate to begin colonizing a new planet and living the Little House On The Prairie life or suit up to mine the solar system's asteroids for precious metals, gems and hidden signs of ancient advanced societies. SP has a lifelong fascination with geeky shows, advanced technologies, revolutionary science and apocalyptic tales.

Better Podcasting #185 – Enhancing a Minimal Podcast Setup

Facebooktwitterredditmail

We make it clear that our stance is that in order to podcast, you can achieve great sound simply by using a simple microphone like the Audio-Technica ATR2100, AT2005 or Samson Q2U. In this episode we discuss some ways you can attempt to enhance a simple podcast setup without buying new hardware (ok, we’ll talk a bit about some light hardware changes too).

In this week’s Better Podcasting Download, SP gives his thoughts on the Backpack Studio update to now allow live streaming.

Finally, in this week’s Better Podback, we take listener feedback including a poll about whether or not our listeners live-stream.

Avatar ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Stephen is a west coast Canadian who enjoys pretty much all things geeky. Whether it's podcasting, playing with tech or just watching a great re-run of Star Trek, Stephen is probably interested in it. GonnaGeek is the brain child of Stephen. You see, for years he has helped run a variety of specific genre websites (such as comics, Star Trek, etc) but sometimes he found himself needing to talk more than just comics... that's why he created GonnaGeek. Stephen is currently the Producer, Editor and a Co-Host of the Official GonnaGeek.com Show (www.gonnageek.com/show/) and Better Podcasting (www.betterpodcasting.com). He also runs www.thepodcastforum.com
