AGENT CARTER “BETTER ANGLES” [4:26]
The Agents enjoy the second week of Agent Carter this week. The show takes us into the beginnings of the “Red Scare,” the beginnings of comic book movies, lays out Marvel Cinematic Universe Easter Eggs, and brings the viewer back to the Arena Club / The Secret Empire headquarters.. The trio of Agents discuss the SSR organizational structure and why Sousa really isn’t standing up for himself. The agents also explain who they think are double agents and what an idiot Jack Thompson is. Frost’s director is also equally an idiot. It’s great we have two Marvel fan experts on the cast (Agent Haley and Supervillain “Lab Rat” Lauren) to be able to drop all the great background Marvel knowledge. And yes, Marvel, you really should get these ladies on your payroll. They break down Madam Masque’s background again including if she is really killing her victims, talk about Hedy Lamarr’s background again, discuss why Agent Carter is “playing to expectations,” and count off Hayley Atwell’s American accent attempts. Lauren give a much needed Silver Nitrate handing warning and Haley ends the episode with her great hand-picked episode quotes.

JESSICA JONES “A.K.A. IT’S CALLED WHISKEY” [26:36]
The Agents take a second look into the third Jessica Jones episode in this podcast which could be one of their favorites in the series. There’s tons of superhero sex, broken furniture, a Sweet Christmas, and Jessica and Kilgrave meet face to face. Jessica has a family fight, searches for controlled substances, and is haunted by Luke Cage’s past wife Reva. The Agents have mixed emotions watching Malcolm. The Agents also are very dismayed by Jeri and Trish’s decisions in this episode. But Jessica is formulating her plan to defeat Kilgrave and is making progress! We’ll see how this episode stacks up as the Agents continue with their re-watch in the coming weeks.

Episode 3:
– okay, that was a hot choice to begin the 3rd episode; “Don’t get any ideas about my extremities” Beef would have nightmares about that ideas
– all the multiple flashed of Jessica watching Luke Cage’s love fall backwards…did Kilgrave made Jessica kill her?
– Sweet Christmas…by the way nice excuse using the NSA to get it on again
– feeling really unsure how wise Trish’s move was to call out and insult Kilgrave
– great idea to use the anesthesia to fool the policeman, but man, hoe idiotic was Trish to let him in in the first place!
– Darn, proved my theory was correct, that is messed up
– hmm, is it only one person or a network Kilgrave is using to photograph Jessica?
Bottom line: Slowly but steadily I get pulled into the story: 8 out of 10 wrecked beds
