Legends Of S.H.I.E.L.D. comes to the end of the first Daredevil season. The Agents are joined by fellow GonnaGeek podcaster Keir from Gallifrey Public Radio and In Defense Of Podcasts. Together, they join forces to discuss the thirteenth Daredevil episode called “Daredevil.” The foursome also takes a little time to wrap up the season as a while. Marvel’s Daredevil on Netflix episode “Daredevil” [05:20]
The payoff in the season finale is worth it. While the main fight between Fisk and Daredevil might have been outclassed by other fights in the series, the Agents finally hear the name Daredevil and see his suit. The Daredevil season one showrunner, Steven S. DeKnight, certainly closes off the run nicely. The Agents’ favorite member of the Evil League Of Evil, Leland, mis-calculates terribly and gets what is coming to him. The Agents are also treated to the Daredevil protagonist gang getting back together again, but the Agents ask themselves just whose secret will reveal itself first in season 2 (Which everyone is looking forward to seeing). The Agents also speculate on how long Wilson Fisk will sit in the box and just what Vanessa and Wilson told each other as well as give props to Fisk’s “Ill Intent” speech. The Agents are finally treated to the Stan Lee Daredevil series “cameo.” And of course it wouldn’t be a Legends Of S.H.I.E.L.D. podcast without considering a Marvel cross-over such as Big Hero 6’s Baymax cosplaying as Wilson Fisk.
