Okay I’m done I can not take it any more!! I am feel like Beauty and the Beast on the CW is lost and at least in this viewer’s eyes beyond saving. The whole “I love him but I can’t love him as he is so I’m going to fix him” is pissing me off. Now I am like any girl and I love a true romance every now and then, but comes on lady if you are going to love the bad boy or the stranger in the night you got to take to good with the bad.  So I wash my hands of this series. With that said how was your Monday? I’m am stocked up and ready for the snow that supposed to hit tonight here in WV. If you’re ready lets get to tonight’s line up.

Sleepy Hollow:The Midnight Ride

Tonight in Sleepy hollow the headless horseman comes looking for his head and is willing to kill every night till he is able to retrieve it. The Horseman starts the night by attacking the masons and decapitating  the four members of the inner circle. Crane becomes livid and starts searching their books for answers but every reference to the horseman has been sliced out of the journals. Wow paranoid much Death?   Captain Frank decides he’s going to believe so he tries to retrieve the head from the lab but the horseman shows up with assault rifles, and begins shooting up the lab. Frank manages to escape and takes the head to to Abbie and Crane, when they review the footage from the security camera goes on the fritz  at the point the horseman shows up.  Crane and Abbie proceed to try to destroy it using any means available, dynamite, sledge hammer, liquid nitrogen.  The decide to take it to a high power metal compress but while they are leaving the building they see 4 “lanterns” hung in the distance. The Lanterns are actually the carved out heads of the masons, because the  heads are lined with silver similar to the lanterns Paul Revere used to warn them of the regulars coming.  They go and find his journal at the local history,  where he hid a message they could only be deciphered using the key on the teeth of the horseman.  It tells of how they can trap death, which is the same message Andy our dead police officer delivers to Abbie.  The set up the ritual chamber using the fake sun of today, uv lights, to trap him in a cell made by Jefferson himself.

Best thing about this episode to me was all the little humor strunge through out. The paying for water was very well implemented. It would be hard for anyone from before the 1900’s to grasp the concept of paying for water, a basic  necessity available almost everywhere but today in most areas is close to being toxic. Adahy laughed his head off at the internet gag with the online sex room. I wonder what he was trying to type in that pulled up a webcam?  Also trying to explain to Ichabod what we’ve learned of Jefferson was a good spin on it.

My biggest question of the night though is whose side is Andy really on? I think he just wants to pass over but i figure he is being used by the demon in the mirror to trick Abbie into letting her guard down around him and he will be forced to betray them? What do you guys think of the series thus far and what are your predictions going forward?

So before we have our popcorn I want to let you in on another show that gets my full attention each monday. NBC’s The Blacklist. I can not praise this series enough, I have been hooked since the first episode and tonights and next weeks with be the the hook that reals anyone that is on the fence in. So if you have a chance hulu it or check it out on demand for a great watch.  Now onto our goodies though for the night. I made this popcorn for Adahy;s carryin for the week Key Lime Pie Popcorn.

Key Lime Popcorn Clusters

1. Yield: about 32 clusters

Ingredients

8 cups popped popcorn
4 whole graham crackers, finely chopped
1 jar (7 ½ ounces) marshmallow crème
¼ cup butter or margarine
2 tablespoon grated lime peel
1 tablespoon key lime (or traditional lime) juice

Directions

1. Line 9-inch square pan with foil.

2. Combine popcorn and all but 2 tablespoon of graham cracker pieces in large bowl.

3. Microwave marshmallow crème and butter in large glass bowl on HIGH for 1 minute.  Stir until butter is melted.  Stir in lime peel and lime juice.

4. Pour marshmallow mixture over popcorn, mixing thoroughly.

5. Using damp hand, firmly press mixture into prepared pan.  Sprinkle with reserved 2 tablespoons graham cracker pieces.  Refrigerate 2 hours until firm.

6. Lift foil from pan.  Break popcorn mixture into clusters.
