Hope everyone is having a good monday. Sadly tonight we are a show short, Sleepy Hollow will not return with a new show till November 4, 2013. They are rerunning the pilot tonight so if you need a refresher be sure to tune in. With that though lets take a look at Beauty and the Beast.
Beauty and the Beast
Tonight vincent is tracking another beast, a soldier who was killed in Iraq. His father owns a gallery in new york and is a kill target for the supposedly dead soldier. The show starts with Vincent’s handler having his cellphone ripped through his chest. This alerts Cats team to the murder and they are in a race to solve it before Vincent does. She has Tess teach her how to lie to Vincent so they can see what he has found this is where we get the painting at 5 oclock. Which is a painting being auctioned off by out target of the night. At the gallery, there is a fight and Cat nearly falls into an elevator shaft, but when Vincent grabs her and gets a flashback of memories
I am starting to lose a lot of interest in this show. I’m not sure why but it just seems like its being to simple. That may be me making it that simple though. So tell me in the comments what you guys are thinking of it.
Glazed Lemon and Poppy Seed Popcorn
Yield: 4 quarts
Ingredients
-
4 quarts unbuttered and unsalted popcorn (air popped)
-
1 egg white
-
1/4 cup sugar
-
1/4 teaspoon salt
-
1/4 teaspoon lemon extract
-
2 teaspoons lemon zest
-
1 teaspoon poppy seeds
Directions
-
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Line a large, rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper (or foil sprayed with cooking spray). Spread popcorn onto prepared baking sheet.
-
In a small bowl, whisk together egg white, sugar, salt and lemon extract until foamy. Pour over popcorn and toss to coat evenly.
-
Bake 20 minutes, stirring once midway through baking time. Cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
Notes
The use of egg white helps the flavors adhere to the popcorn, without adding fat through the more traditional use of oils.
