Marvel is upping the cute factor in video games. “Lego Marvel Super Heroes” is being released October 22nd for the current gen systems and an unspecified day in November for the PS4 and Xbox One. I know it isn’t a Batman Arkham game but if you haven’t played Lego Batman 1 or 2 or the myriad number of Lego games, you should. They’re fun and addictive and they support something that’s been missing in gaming since the FPS took over. Multiplayer. Not online. I mean actually sitting next to someone and playing the game.
Marvel finally steps into the Lego world with a bang, bringing a whopping 100 playable characters. A plethora of new character reveals were made at NYCC but I only care about one playable character announcement; Aunt May. Real talk.
At NYCC they also announced a Thor: The Dark World game releasing around the same time as the movie for mobile devices. They also revealed a ton of content for their MMORPG; Marvel Heroes, a pinball simulator, Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign for Android and iOS, and a digital card battle game called Marvel War of Heroes.

I am so excited to play this game. The Lego games are some of the most fun games ever.
