This year marks the 75th Anniversary of the Dark Knight and this Saturday February 1st, an art exhibit featuring Batman’s rogue gallery will open at the One-Shot Gallery inside St. Mark’s Comics in New York City. Titled GREAT VILLAINS OF GOTHAM: A Cowardly and Superstitious Lot, the exhibit will feature original artwork of Gotham’s villains from different artists. Here’s the official description of the exhibit:

“A great city demands a better class of criminal and Batman’s backyard does not disappoint.  This show aims to give these devils their due, a spotlight on the dark minds forever thwarted by a dark knight.”

The One-Shot Gallery is a micro-gallery which exhibits original art and prints inspired by and celebrating comic books and original graphic novels.  Each month new artwork will be displayed in the One-Shot exhibit space at St. Mark’s Comics and made available at oneshotgallery.net.
