Hound Entertainment Celebrates the New 2013 Products

New York, New York, January 4th, 2013 – Hound Comics, Inc. (Hound Entertainment Group) has recently announced their first official event of the New Year taking place in New York City on January 15th. In an attempt to take Manhattan by storm; Hound has teamed up with their partners Eastsport, Inc. and CaJohns Fiery Foods – as well as the leading local internet guide, Yelp. Spotlighting celebrity based products from Ron ‘Bumblefoot’ Thal (Guns ‘N Roses), Jene’ Luciani (America’s Favorite Bra & Style Guru), Danny Gagnon (Top Chef), the Food Hounds (Food Hound: Tidbits) and Hound’s CEO Brimstone (Entertainment Entrepreneur); the event itself will seamlessly unite various avenues of entertainment including art, music, fashion, celebrities and more under one unique roof – Times Scare NYC (Times Square’s only year round Haunted Attraction). Epic would be a true understatement; so the festivities have been appropriately dubbed the ‘Spicy Hound Extravaganza’.

Event goers will enjoy an exclusive performance by Bumblefoot himself; accompanied by acclaimed vocalist Tony Harnell (TNT), while noshing on spooky finger-foods courtesy of Times Scare. Samplings of delicious morsels made using the brand new Food Hound:Tidbits, Brimstone, and Bumblefoot branded lines of seasonings, salsa and sauces will be served throughout the evening. In celebration of the worldwide release, CaJohns will be dishing out a fantastic foodie demonstration using favorites from the product line – being served up by none other than Danny Gagnon (Top Chef) and the infamous John ‘CaJohn’ Hard. Yelpers from the Tri-State area will have the opportunity to attend the event and be a part of foodie history with a variety of flavors including Flavor Behavior, Tastebud Tango, Hell Dust, Grindhouse, Normal, Abnormal and Bumblef****d.

NEW “LIQUID COMICS” APP

NEW YORK, NY— December 20, 2012 – Just in time for the holiday season, Liquid Comics launched the new “Liquid Comics” app today for the iPhone and iPad. The app quickly rose to number 4 in the App Store charts under iPhone free book apps. The app is available now for download at: http://bit.ly/liquidapp

The app is loaded with free comics and videos from leading creators from both comics and Hollywood including Guy Ritchie, John Woo, Barry Sonnenfeld, Shekhar Kapur, Grant Morrison, Garth Ennis, Andy Diggle, Marc Guggenheim, Mukesh Singh, Jeevan J. Kang and more.

The app will also be the first place to receive updates on new projects coming soon from Liquid, including “Coming of Rage” by legendary creator Wes Craven (Scream, Nightmare on Elm Street) and horror scribe, Steve Niles (30 Days of Night).

Nowhere Men #2 Sells Out

Lauded for its mash-up of “science fiction, a little bit of Beatles-esque mystique, a touch of retro, a bit of business” (iFanboy) at the release of its first issue, NOWHERE MEN continues going strong. The second issue of the pop-art sci-fi comics series by Eric Stephenson and Nate Bellegarde has sold out at the distributor level the same week as its release. The issue will receive a second printing (NOV128153), to be in stores on January 30, the same day as NOWHERE MEN #3.

Image Comics also recently revealed a T-shirt bearing the series’ tagline “Science is the new rock ‘n’ roll,” to be released in March.
