Imagine a world where Venom is cool enough to get his own comic, but when they make the game they go and name it after a Spider-Man run instead. That just sounds horrible doesn’t it?

You don’t have to, because Tyler Kirby from Better than Static returns to the show to talk Venom/Spider-Man: Separation Anxiety.

Learn such things as:

• Which comic run is the game really supposed to be based on?
• Does the Acclaim name really mean LJN didn’t have a hand in this?
• What one game mechanic single handedly makes this game worth playing?
• And much more!

WE HAVE A PATREON NOW! Check that out or head over to the Support page if you want to go another route.

You can also check out the Play Comics Merch Store, or the Ninja Penguin Pods Store if you want to see things for all of our shows.

You can find Play Comics @playcomicscast on Twitter and in the Play Comics Podcast Fan Group on Facebook.

You can find Tyler over at @kirbst0mp74 for his personal account, @btstatic, kirbst0mp74 on Twittch or the official Better Than Static website.

Thanks to Scott Niswander from NerdSync for that sweet sweet intro drop.

A big thanks to Chris, Cory, and Donnie from More Gooder Than as well as Kate from Ignorance Was Bliss for the promos today.

Music by Best Day, who would probably take one for the team and eat all the almond joys.
