Its November!!! I hope you all had a great weekend or at least better than mine. I’ve spent the last 3 days with a migraine so I’ve been out of commision. So lets get caught up on our shows from the weekend. I will have to warn you almost all these shows this week required tissues for us that get attached to our characters
Once Upon a Time: Ariel
On Sunday we journeyed to Neverland once more, and a new fairy tale character joins the mists. Ariel. Most of the show was telling how she was connected with our band of misfits. We find out that it was snow white that was trying to help Ariel get back with Prince Eric at a ball. The Evil Queen impersonates Ursal, and convinces her that she can have legs if she takes Snow Whites through the power of a bracelet. How ever she has a change of heart and helps snow white escape sacrificing chere chance at true love. For betraying the Evil Queen she takes Ariel’s voice. Back in the present, Hook does the right thing and tells the group that Neal is alive and in Echo caves. They decide to go after Neal first, and this upsets The Evil Queen about the delay in getting Henry. She leaves the group, and goes off and finds Rumpelstiltskin, however as she approaches she sees “Belle”, and begins to attack her. Rumpelstiltskin becomes furious at her but she explains as she continues to attack Belle that he has been tricked and she is going to show him the truth. At that Belle shifts form and is actually a shadow that has been whispering in Rumpelstiltskin ear. He still insists he has to die in order to stop Pan, However they put their evil minds together and figured out they could set him up with a fate worse than death. So in exchange for getting some things that Rumpelstiltskin needs from the other realm the Evil queen offers Ariel her legs and voice back. Meanwhile in Back at the caves they had to admit their lies in order to build a bridge to to free Neal. Hook admits he loves Emma, Snow White Admits she feels like she was robbed not being able to raise Emma and wants a baby. Prince Charming admits that he can not leave the island because he was not quick enough to dodge the dreamshade, and the biggest secret of all Emma hoped that Neal was dead because she didn’t want to face her feelings about him.
So finally the Truth comes out, and I will admit I teared up at the confession session. I understand where Emma’s coming from but its not like Neal had a choice to be show and fall in the portal.
In Witches of East End : Electric Avenue
Please pass the tissues. This episode was even worse, than last weeks where Adam died in Ingrid’s arms. Ingrid unable to cope with his passing summons his spirit but also brought back an evil spirit as well and in order to send one away she had to send both away. I will admit I was an absolute puddle on the couch while watching it.
Freya’s love life gets even more complicated. Dash’s ex-fiancée Elyse stopped by the bar with a big surprise: She’s dead! Needless to say, Killian was more than a little surprised to see his co-worker shouting at nothing. Apparently Elyse’s spirit slipped through the spiritual door when Ingrid brought Adam’s spirit back, to exact her revenge, only Dash wasn’t the Garner brother she had in her sights.A nasty shock sent Killian to the hospital, and even though he almost died, his feelings for Freya are becoming more visible. Joanna is also found innocent after Wendy messed with the victim’s mind last week.
So wow this is getting interesting. I am starting to worry that there won’t be more than one season. I’m not sure how they are going to keep the girls living that long. Though it has been one of the best shows ever for Lifeline so maybe they will figure out how to change the curse.
Sleepy Hollow: The Sin Eater
When Ichabod Crane is kidnapped by the Masons, his wife, Katrina, appears to Lt. Abbie Mills in a vision warning
her that the Headless Horseman will return to Sleepy Hollow by nightfall. A frantic Abbie seeks help from the mysterious Henry Parrish, know as the Sin Eater, who holds vital clues about how Crane can can break his dangerous blood tie to Headless Horseman. Meanwhile, an memory from Crane’s past weighs heavily on him, and details about his first days being awakened to the demons of the war and how he first meet Katrina are revealed.
Even though there was not a lot of plot to this episode it was really great episode for all the things that were not said fully. Abbie and Ichabod basically admitted that they are in love though their actions. Abbie and her sister also seem to bond over the flight to save Crane.
So for our popcorn tonight we are going to go with a great homemade candy bar. I’m making these to slip in Adahy’s lunch for the week.
