Legends Podcast is pressing pause on Chronovember to talk about Denis Villenueve’s latest visually stunning reimagining of a beloved Eighties classic film based on long-thought-to-be-unfilmable sci-fi text! Frank Herbert’s 1965 novel was a groundbreaking achievement in the genre, but David Lynch’s 1984 film adaptation was a commercial and critical failure. With Villenueve’s film getting a simultaneous release in the theaters and on HBO Max, as well as only tackling the first half of Herbert’s novel, what will we make of this latest attempt to tell the story of Paul Muad’Dib, the worms, and the spice? God created Arrakis to train the faithful, and He created Legends Podcast to review DUNE!
