Directed by Gore Verbinski (Pirates of the Caribbean) from a script by Matthew Robinson (The Invention of Lying) and featuring Haley Lu Richardson, Juno Temple, Michael Peña, and Zazie Beetz, this gonzo sci-fi comedy takes aim at artificial intelligence, social media addiction, and humanity’s increasingly questionable relationship with technology. While critics generally swiped right, audiences ghosted this flick at the theaters. But can an unlikely band of diner-dwellers prevent an AI apocalypse, or are we doomed to scroll mindlessly into oblivion? Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die – This is Chronovember!
