When Cassandra Webb’s mother is bitten by a magic spider, she grows up with the power to see the future. But even she couldn’t predict that this movie would be crowned the worst of the year. Starring Dakota Johnson, with Sydney Sweeney, Isabella Merced, Celeste O’Connor, Tahar Rahim, and Adam Scott, the S. J. Clarkson film wove a string of bad reviews into a spindly $100 million at the box office. One reviewer called it “the death of the superhero genre, the burning of the superhero genre to the ground and then the returning in the middle of the night to piss on the superhero genre’s ashes.” Gee, I wonder how he really felt! But since hitting Netflix, it’s been the Number One movie, so how bad can it be? Join us as we get caught up with Madame Web!
