We’re kicking off 2024 with an absolute banger from last year: the long-awaited follow-up to 2018’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse! Where the first film introduced us to Miles, Gwen, Peter B., and taught us that anyone can wear the mask, the new film blows the dimensional barrier wide open and calls in the Spider Society, a league of extraordinary arachnids with the mission to protect the multiverse. With stunning visuals, an amazing soundtrack, and more… well, more everything than the first one, the film seems primed to score a repeat win for Best Animated Feature of the Year. But somehow audiences were disappointed that it only tells half the story.  Alright, people, let’s do this one last time!
