Join Haley, Jon, and Wil in the very first episode of Crimson Comet, a weekly podcast about CW’s The Flash. After waiting all summer, we finally get a chance to watch the pilot episode “City of Heroes” (if only there were some way we could have seen it earlier). This week, Haley forgets that this podcast isn’t about science, Jon forgets that this podcast isn’t about Gotham, and Wil just forgets.

I gotta say you guys, between this and all of the other comic book shows, and your podcasts based on them, you have a monopoly on my free time. That being said, loved this episode of the TV show, loved this episode of the podcast and I have a story.
While I was watching this show I was alone in an the building where my office is located, that is scheduled for demolition and we’re just awaiting the word before we move into our new offices across the parking lot. The heater is broken: it’s a furnace in here, so the front door of the building is also open. The door at the end of the hallway behind me was also open. The same moment that Barry got struck by lightning a gust of wind blew through the front door and slammed close the door behind me. I gotta give it to the show for setting the tone because I, as a soldier, have faced down some scary shite, and I don’t startle for anything, but in this moment, I nearly dove under my desk I was scared poopless.
Thanks for the podcast and a place to let me tell my story, looking forward to more. Peace!
