Last night at San Diego Comic Con it was time for Arrow to take center stage at Hall H. There were some great bits of information that came out earlier this week but there was really big news announced at the panel.
Arrow showrunner Marc Guggenheim announced the news at Comic Con and gave the fans some background on the Arrow versions of Ra’s al Ghul. According to Guggenheim:
“We have a really clever way of doing Ra’s this year that is true to the comic-book origins but different from the way Ra’s was portrayed in the Nolan movies. You don’t want to compete with Batman Begins, even though we’ve always said Batman Begins was a big influence on us,” he says. “We really wanted our Ra’s to be very different — at least our own Arrow-ified version.”
I can’t be the only Arrow fan that is excited by the development. Season 3 starts in October and I’m counting down the days. If you get the chance take a look at the Season 3 promo that WB released during the week. If you’ve already seen it once keep watching because they’ve added Ra’s to the end.
