Geekation friends and future attendees,
As some of you may or may not know the term Geekation was coined and copyrighted by our very own Beef on Legends Podcast before our planning events even started. Beef, being ever so humble, once learning about us using the term Geekation quietly began inferring on his multiple podcasts that he would expect payment in the amount of one American penny every time we used, wrote, spoke, shouted, whispered or posted the term Geekation, in whole or part. Seeing this
as an issue I took it upon myself to negotiate on behalf of the Geekation planning group to appease the mighty humble Beef by sending him the attached letter dated on December 17th, 2013 enclosed in a box of two thousand American pennies as he offered on The Legends News Stream Podcast to be satisfactory payment for indefinite use of the term Geekation in all forms. Beef, for his part, did not go quietly. Our mighty humble Beef proceeded to negotiate further.
It was a nail biter folks! Beef is a shrewd businessman secretly controlling billions in cheese fortunes in his somewhat diminutive state of Wisconsin. Upon several sweaty and sticky hours of deliberations over text interrupted only for necessary restroom breaks and to obtain evening sustenance we finally came to the terms disclosed in the second letter dated December 19th, 2013. Paper copies were mailed, signed and delivered and I have attached them for your
reading pleasure.
In the end we can now use the term “Geekation” without threat of suit or intimidation. I graciously accept your appreciation for taking on this laborious, taxing and somewhat confusing process on your behalf. Enjoy your New Years folks and ON TO GEEKATION 2014!
