It appears that iPhone users have been tricked into thinking that somehow iOS7 makes their phone waterproof.
An ad appeared on line styled after the latest iOS7 ads, and apparently some people who saw it though it to be legit – and decided to give it a test.
The ad claimed that “In an emergency, a smart-switch will shut off the phone’s power supply and corresponding components to prevent any damage to your iPhone’s delicate circuitry.”
So, whatever you do – please don’t put your iPhone in Water – bad idea.

Anyone who believes that a software update will magically make their phone waterproof and then tries it deserves what happens next.
Hahaha – I know… but its Apple – it can do magic things, right?
