In May this year BlackBerry set the target date to launch their popular messenger service on iOS and Android “before the end of the summer.” Why the app is taking so long to be approved by Apple is unknown. Current approval time is marked as 4 to 5 days.
While BlackBerry Messenger has been a powerhouse since early on in smartphone days, the early rumours for the iOS/Android versions would be missing a few of the standard features.
