Fans of the Amell cousins will be happy to hear that Robbie Amell has landed a role in the upcoming CW TV Series The Flash. Robbie will have a recurring role playing Ronnie Rayomond, also knows as half of Firestorm.

This isn’t the first time Robbie has followed in his cousin Stephen’s footsteps, last year he starred in The Tomorrow People which aired each week following Arrow.

Executive producer Greg Berlanti was quotes as saying “Geoff Johns, Andrew Kreisberg and myself designed the pilot and series to include Ronnie (aka Firestorm) — and to actually have someone with Robbie’s talent playing the role is beyond exciting…We can’t wait for viewers and fans of the character to check it out.”

Looks like if you want to land a role in the CW Superhero lineup you may want to find a way into the Amell family.
