Review:
The adventures of Tomorrow Jones continued in issue three of the indie comic. Tomorrow is a 14-year old girl who comes from a family of superheroes who live a double life by not revealing who they really to the public. That goes all out the window-at least where Tomorrow is concerned-when she revealed her identity after stopping a robbery and defeating her first supervillain.
With this news out in public, Tomorrow sees her popularity at school rise while her best friend Brianna begins to feel left in the dust as well as questioning the validity of her and Tomorrow’s friendship. As she tries to save their friendship, Tomorrow has to deal with a newfound enemy. Will she be able to handle her powers as well as the responsibility of friendship? You’ll have to read the comic to find out.
As I’ve summed it up in my previous two reviews, Tomorrow Jones has everything that one will find in an exceptionally well scripted and illustrated comic. The pacing is sound, and the development of each character is well done. In addition, the colors are vibrant and each action in each panel is conveyed extremely well. Comics are a visual medium and this comic really does an excellent job of excelling in this artform.
If you want to find an comic for your friends, kids, or for your own self to read, this series is one that you definitely want to get your hands on. All three issues are now available on Comixology. So why are you still standing there? Make a move and get them!
