STAR WARS is coming “home” to Marvel. Now that Disney owns both MARVEL COMICS and the STAR WARS franchise, they’ve pulled the Star Wars comic rights back in house. And, since Star Wars had its original comics run at Marvel, it’s a sort of homecoming. To honor the occasion, Marvel had ALEX ROSS do a variant cover commemorating HOWARD CHAYKIN’s original cover to STAR WARS #1 back in 1977.

Everything old is new again!
