ABC announced the news that all Marvel/Avengers fans have been waiting for. The often talked about Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has officially been green lit and will be part of ABC’s fall schedule. Coming this Fall, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. can be seen at 9:00 PM ET. Personally, I couldn’t be anymore excited as this is great news.
Its a smart move by ABC to feature this show. The Avengers is a hot property, and with the success of The Avengers and more recent success of Iron Man 3 its becoming increasingly obvious that the Marvel properties are remaining super popular. I have to say I love the move of making a seemingly resurrected Agent Coulson, played by Clark Gregg, the lead in this show. Fans have come to love that character and some people were genuinely distressed when he was killed in The Avengers.
ABC has also released a full length trailer for the upcoming show, take a look at it and let us know what you think in the comments below. Personally, I think the trailer looks great and cannot wait for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. this Fall. Also, does anyone want to take bets that J. August Richards is playing Luke Cage, better known as Power Man?
