This Episode takes John D. and Gen back to where it all began as they watch Star Trek: The Motion Picture. We comment on the choice of wardrobe, the ungodly amount of reaction shots, the use of the transporter, how Kirk motivates his troops and the awfully long introduction shot of the refitted Enterprise. We go trough the blue space cloud as we follow the unnamed man that is constantly drifting in space and can’t get our mind around the amount of time it takes to get to V’ger.

We also talk about some Superbowl trailers, new women in Superhero movies and the new layout of io9. And of course, we can’t go trough a cast without talking about Mass Effect and some of our favorite video games.
