- Executive producer Marc Guggenheim tweeted out a picture of the cover sheet for the fifth episode of the upcoming Season 6, which directly calls out the return of Deathstrokein perhaps the most obvious way possible. The producer jokingly mentions that he tweeted the title “Deathstroke Returns,” with actor Manu Bennett tagged. According to the episode’s cover sheet, “Deathstroke Returns” will be directed by Joel Novoa, who previously directed the Season 5 episode “Dangerous Liaisons.” Ben Sokolowski (Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow) and Spiro Skentzos (Grimm) will write the episode.

- The CW’s Legends of Tomorrow has tapped Susie Abromeit, whose TV credits include Marvel’s Jessica Jones (as Hogarth’s girlfriend Pam), Chicago Med and Devious Maids, to guest-star during Season 3 as Ray’s mother, TVLinehas learned exclusively. As shared during Comic-Con last month, Episode 4 of the coming season will head to the 1980s to investigate Ray’s childhood, where Abromeit will appear.

- The Flash: Joe West’s Romance Will ‘Progress,’ Teases Martin (Date: 15 Aug 2017)
- Love is in the air for at least one character on The Flash. Season 3 saw Joe West through a budding romance with Cecile Horton, Central City’s district attorney. Though there was a little trouble in paradise last year, it seems as though the couple will still be going strong when Season 4 picks up. At Comic-Con International in San Diego, Joe West actor Jesse L. Martin teased more development in his character’s love life. Asked about Joe’s relationship with Cecile, Martin teased, “It’s going to progress. That’s really all I can say. She’s going to be around, so we’ll see what happens.”

- Supergirl: Director Kevin Smith to Return for Season 3 (Date 14 Aug 2017)
- Director Kevin Smith is returning to National City with the announcement that he will direct another episode of the CW’s Supergirl. Smith made the announcement through a tweet on Monday afternoon, adding that he was in Vancouver, where the show films. Also featured in the tweet was a production draft for an episode from the show’s upcoming season. The draft in his tweet shows that Smith will be directing the fifth episode of season three. The episode is written by Eric Carrasco and Cindy Lichtman, who each have multiple writing credits on the show.
