In a short scene, Kid Flash and Citizen Steel are hanging out after a fight, with Nick Zano’sNate complaining to Wally that the speedster failed to leave him any bad guys to fight.

- Katee Sackhoff has joined the cast of The Flash in a recurring role, EW has learned exclusively. The Battlestar Galactica alum will play DC Comics villain Amunet Black, a.k.a Blacksmith, a steely and badass boss of an underground black market for supervillains. Amunet uses every means possible, including the long list of metahumans under her thumb, to ensure her illicit enterprise thrives. The actress will first appear in episode 405, interestingly titled “Girls Night Out,” which also serves as a mini-crossover with Arrow: Emily Bett Rickards will also pop up during the hour.

- With Floriana Lima not returning to Supergirl as a series regular, the fate of the Alex-Maggie romance has been in question during the long hiatus, but now we have some definitive news. “Maggie does not die,” executive producer Andrew Kreisberg tells EW. “I’m sure a lot of people are afraid of that. Maggie will continue to exist in the world and we hope that if the opportunity presents itself for her, that she’ll come back from time to time.” Floriana decided to move on from the show and will be written out.

But it’s going to be really traumatic for Mick Rory, because he has deified this version of his dead partner in his head, and in a way, Snart’s return is his greatest wish come true, but the fact that he doesn’t get the version that he’s held in the back of his mind is deeply unsettling. Rory’s made a lot of progress as well in the meantime, but he’s certainly not ready to call himself a hero.”

- Reign will be a thorn in Supergirl’s side during Season 3. At Comic-Con International in San Diego, Reign actress Odette Annable shared new details about her character. “Reign, as most of you know probably, she’s a Worldkiller. She was bioengineered in a lab. She was sent from Krypton much like Kara and Clark, but her story is going to be different than any other villain that you’ve seen on Supergirl Seasons 1 and 2, mostly because she doesn’t come to Earth to go on a killing spree,” Annable revealed. “She has a very specific agenda that she is out to do, and you will see that story unfold throughout the season. For me, it’s really amazing because it’s kind of a heartbreaking story and I think that you’ll feel for her.”
